We love coming here. The atmosphere and design give a truly authentic vibe, and the staff are lovely: always friendly, smiling, and attentive. Even when it’s busy, they do their best to keep the service polite and as quick as possible. Prices are fair, and the food is fresh and very tasty. It’s great to have places like this in our area. We’ll definitely be back.

Shiny Diner is a beautiful, classic-style diner with a large menu and plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, and the staff is very nice and friendly. Come for the milkshakes, stay for the hospitality. These servers are some of the sweetest in town. Kind to our kiddos, overly helpful with coloring books and quarters for the jukebox, and genuinely caring souls who want to make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cute and laid back, and who doesn’t love the option of breakfast all day?

Perfect poached eggs on hashbrowns. Tasty rye toast. Enjoyed the chicken fried steak and gravy. Coffee was flowing and Cortni was a great server.

Amazingly detailed and decorated. One side of the diner has tables that accommodate reservations, which tend to have more space if you’re looking to bring family. I love the option to choose onion rings over regular French fries, and the shakes are the best part so far. It’s so huge that the waitress brings it in two cups!

Amazing service and food!! Jasmine was our server but the whole staff was welcoming and polite.
We ordered the chicken and waffles with a Belgian waffle, the 2 biscuits and sausage gravy with a vanilla shake. We were pleased with all of it but the biscuits and gravy was the show stopper for sure. The sausage to gravy ratio was *perfect* and the biscuits were a fantastic texture. With the chicken and waffles, I was expecting more out of the tenders but everything still tasted great. The milkshake was delicious as well, the amount you get makes it really worth it.
The entire atmosphere of the diner is great, the coziness is a great aspect. The individual music players are super cute, don’t function which is to be expected, however my husband and I still tried to put a quarter anywhere we could.
The price wasn’t bad at all, especially for two of us at a sit down place. Can’t wait to come back!

First time trying went alone hash browns tasted like they needed to be cooked longer I asked for my eggs with no runny yellow and my eggs had yellow running still steak was good coffee was good to service was regular I don’t think I’d return because of food taste

Classic diner with a huge menu including lots of choices for kids. They have the best shakes and burgers. The wait staff is delightful. Bring quarters to play the old hits on the juke box.

Experienced truly outstanding service today with a large family group in town for lunch; 8 adults in the one large corner booth and kids 5 to 12 years in the adjoining booth. Our waitress was amazing with the kids and so patient and personable. Drinks and chips came out quickly for the kids and the food was classic diner and didn’t disappoint. Noteworthy were the chicken fried steak, milkshakes and beef vegetable soup and sandwiches in general. Again, service far exceeded expectations and we appreciate that they were able to seat us all together.
