We had a pretty good experience. The mac and cheese was excellent ,the steak was a little on the small side but okay baked potato was good. Drinks were made good, and the place seemed clean- including the bathrooms. Summer/ warm weather they have a few tables outside.

We stumbled upon Sherman Hotel while passing through town, having spotted it on Maps just a couple of hours earlier — and what a fantastic surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff made us feel right at home with their warmth and friendliness.
But let’s talk about the food, because it deserves its own spotlight. My wife ordered the brisket burger, and after one bite — yes, she let me have one — we both agreed it was hands down the best either of us had ever had. I went with the full rack of ribs with the house BBQ sauce, and I have to say: for years I had my personal gold standard for ribs, the benchmark I measured everything else against. Sherman Hotel just became the new standard. Juicy, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.
Do yourself a favor and make the trip. We live 200 miles away, and trust me, we’re already dreaming up excuses to come back.

First time here. Had late dinner (8pm) Great atmosphere Had the 20oz ribeye with waffle fries and coleslaw, cheesecake. It was fantastic. All the food great quality and cooked perfect. Best steak we’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth the $. Ended the night with live music.

On our way home from Niagara Falls and decided to take a detour. This place was awesome! Best steak I have had in a very long time. Off the beat and path but well worth it. Shout out to our sweet server and awesome cook. A definite must stop!!

I have had the pleasure of working in Sherman for the past few weeks. First week in town I checked out the hotel for lunch and have NOT been able to stop going back. The atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant is amazing. The staff beyond amazing. The food is out of this world with how good it is. Not a single complaint about this establishment. Steaks wings burgers all amazing. I attempted the 4lb ribeye challenge unfortunately couldn’t pull it off but hope someone sees this and gives it a shot. The owner is one of the best guys out there.

Danny our server was not only an amazing server but she also created the perfect balsamic for the salad and was very attentive.the ribeye’s we ordered were done to perfection by a very talented young chef not even salt need added and the owner addressed us personally.worth every penny for an exceptional steak dinner.it’s a must to try gem of a restaurant.it will be our pleasure to continue to be patrons.

The food here is definitely five star, a lot of it is homemade. The onion rings are amazing. The waffle fries were amazing. The steak sandwich is home smoked meat with a homemade horseradish sauce, one of the best I’ve had. My niece got the chicken sandwich and it she loved it. My brother got the burger and he couldn’t stop raving about it. Every bit of the food we got was top quality. We had a table of nine and not one person complained about their food at all. Highly recommended.

Saturday evening 6:30, had reservations for 8. Tables were not ready, waitress had to ask another couple to move to a different table to accommodate. The food was good, the waitress did her best given she was the only waitress working. Sad to see several tables get up and leave. We had to wait 30 minutes just to get a drink and order. Not ideal with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. No kids cups, and 3 items on the dinner menu were not available. I give the waitress credit, she was polite even being busy. The bartender could have stepped in and assisted. Not sure if we will return.

The service and atmosphere were great. The food tasted good and it was cooked perfectly. However I do have one suggestion. The food was a tad bland and I think the kitchen needs to be stocked with some more seasonings to use in the food.
