Very cool bar.. I would call it a destination for a weekend cruise. You definitely can spend the afternoon there with friends and family!! It has outdoor seating and games in the beer garden. It also has plenty of seating inside too! Food is excellent!! Awesome atmosphere!!

This place was recommended and thought we’d give it a try. The food was mediocre at best. The soups came out cold. The salad was just bagged lettuce with a tiny bit of cheese on it. The club sandwich was just okay with not much flavor. The wings were way over seasoned. The beer was not cold so we had to drink it over ice. We will not be back.

We really wanted to like The Shed in Pawnee. The place has a cool vibe and we showed up ready to eat. What we weren’t ready for was the full fasting experience.
We placed our order, sat down, and waited. And waited. And waited some more. At one point I started wondering if they were growing the ingredients out back. After an hour and a half, it became clear our order had either been adopted by another table or entered the Witness Protection Program.
We were patient. Very patient. We didn’t complain right away. We gave it time. We watched other tables get served. We watched drinks get refilled. We watched our stomachs file for divorce. Still no food.
Eventually we just walked out. Not mad. Just hungry and confused.
If you’re looking for ambiance and a solid opportunity to reflect on your life choices while starving, this might be your place. If you’re looking to actually eat… maybe pack a snack just in case.

Second time here. this time walking out hungry.

We waited an hour and a half for food. Not exaggerating. Ninety minutes. At that point we weren’t waiting for dinner, we were waiting for a life lesson.

What makes it worse is we knew another group there that night. Larger party. Same exact issue. They waited over an hour too. And here’s the thing… it wasn’t even that busy.

That’s what really blows my mind. This wasn’t some slammed Friday night with a line out the door. Tables that came in after us got their food. Multiple tables. So either the kitchen has no concept of first come first served, or orders are being handled by vibes instead of a system.

We honestly started wondering if our ticket ever made it to the kitchen. Or if the waitress forgot to ring it in. Something is clearly off. Communication, organization, leadership, something.

After an hour and a half, we walked out.

Two visits. Two service disasters. We gave it another chance and got the same result.

Great place for lunch … small town bar/restaurant. Friendly staff, good portions and prices. Lots of things to do in the bar if you want to relax for a while. Live music from time to time.

Beer garden 5/24 see pics
Kitchen Is Open! 3/24 and it’s on point. Had Nashville hot wings and a hamburger horseshoe both were delicious. They just keep improving.
Fun new bar located next to/behind the old 104 store, which will be re-opened as the Country store on 104. The shed has a loft with pool table, swings for seats on patio, garage door style windows that can be rolled up. Once the beer garden opens they will be the perfect bar.

I typically dont like going into bars or bar & grills for that matter. Saw this place on TikTok & told the wife we gotta try it. Will certainly be back, amazing atmosphere, amazing food, easily the best burger I’ve had in a long time. If youre in the area, stop in & give it a go! Only complaint is they need a more clear marking to show where the restaurant is & the bar other than that, 100% highly recommend!

Ok, so I have to explain this, but I will try to do it shortly. A couple of friends and I went there, ordered food, walked around and viewed the place while we waited. The place is neat, very cool. Kind of sucked we had to deal with screaming kids, but hey.

2026 Update – Fool Me Twice…
Well… I went back. I know. Growth. Forgiveness. Second chances.
They were busy when we walked in, which I took as a good sign. “Hey,” I thought, “maybe I just caught them on an off day last year.” Optimism is a dangerous thing.
We ordered. We waited. And waited. And waited.
An hour goes by.
Now, I’m reasonable. I get it. They’re busy. There was a large party. Kitchens get slammed. No big deal. I was fully prepared to be patient.
Then we noticed something interesting.
A table that was seated 45 minutes after us got their food.
That’s when it hit me. Not a slow kitchen. Not a big party delay. Nope. Our order never went in.
After I said something, you could almost see the realization wash over our waitress’s face. Classic “Oh no” moment. At that point, we had already invested an hour of our lives. She said it would be right out.
Thirty more minutes went by.
We should have walked out at the one-hour mark. That’s on us. Instead, we gave it another half hour of hopeful staring at the kitchen doors like kids waiting for Santa.
At the 1 hour and 30 minute mark… we left. No food. Just hunger and regret.
Never again.
Original 2025 Review Recap:
Food: 1 out of 5 stars
Atmosphere: 4 out of 5 stars
The vibe is still cool. Rustic. Fun. Great outdoor setup for live bands. It’s a fantastic place… to wait.
If you’re going for drinks and scenery, sure.
If you’re going for food, maybe pack a snack.
Two visits. Two strikes. I’m out.
