The Rancher remains unparalleled—truly the finest pizza I’ve had. My sincere thanks to Ashley for her exceptional service on Wednesday.

This place was recommended by the place we were staying at. It is a sports bar, and there was a full bar and many food options.

Visited the Shanty Family Tavern this afternoon for lunch and cocktails and we were very impressed. Drinks, food and service were all excellent. Plenty of tv’s to watch with all your favorite sports! Check them out, you’ll be happy you did.

What an absolute gem of a sports bar! We were staying nearby and walked to this location. The service and food were wonderful. With the many TVs you can watch multiple events at once. Staff were great in changing channels for us to watch our local college team compete. Would absolutely come back to this place if we lived in the area. The wait staff were some of the best we encountered on our week long trip through New England!

good bar food. decent pizza. decent chicken tenders ( smallish amount of fries). bone-in wings were good – buffalo. right amount of heat.
jambalaya was decent. what you would expect at a bar/ grille
got the job done.

three cheers to the wait staff. undermanned and outgunned by crowd. they were great and I tipped well because of it.

If you just are wanting soup and lighter fare — with a good draft beer – then this is the place. Both the clam chowder and French onion soup are some of best I’ve had. Full of flavor (as I also tasted my husbands!) The bang bang shrimp is excellent with just the right amount of sweet flavor and crunch. If I lived in NH I’d come back for sure!!

Very busy Spot for locals and visitors. Both the Bar and dining area were packed.

We went for all you can eat Fish n Chips ( Friday). Generous portions served hot, with hand cut Fries (chips)

Good prices and family friendly nice service.

Good sports bar. Lots of beer on tap. Pub food and a lot more. Menu had pizza and stromboli on it. I had steak tips with peppers and onions on a steak roll with fries. It was really good.

The service was good, very attentive staff. Seemed like it was a local hangout, but as a visitor I didnt feel like it was a creepy local bar like some can be. Prices were okay, a bit higher than I would think for pub food, but most food prices are higher along the seacoast anyway.

I’d recommend this place to families and single people alike.

Great local tavern. Waiter was attentive to us and checked in with us multiple times. Food was delicious. You have to try the buffalo cauliflower with bang bang sauce. Great job
