We got the shrimp basket with potato salad and the shack burger with fries. Unfortunately I did not get a picture before eating, but here is the aftermath.
The shrimp breading was light and the shrimp were moist. The meat had good texture. The potato salad was average. More mayonnaise than mustard. The shrimps were medium size, decent portion.
The burger looked to be 1/2 lb, which is what was advertised on the menu. It was not really seasoned and was cooked well done so kind of dry. The fries were your average undercooked/not crispy steak fries. They were also not seasoned at all. The bun was good. The menu says sour dough bun, but it was sweet and soft which was good.
The atmosphere was nothing special. The staff was mostly friendly and our waitress was attentive.
For what we got, the price was high.
I did hear another guest ask if things were cooked separately to avoid gluten contamination and she said yes. So if you’re worried about gluten, there’s that.

I ordered 3 meat plate, brisket, ribs and chopped meat and the meat was tender and super flavorful. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the bark was amazing. The brisket was sooooooo tender and the bark was super flavorful! The potato salad was just right, just the right amount of mustard and mayo! The beans were tender and not over or under cooked. Just right! The service was just as amazing as the food! Great job Guys!

Really nice people, I’ll say that first. However the food is horrible. Maybe because we’re from San Antonio and used to flavor and spice…but nothing we had was seasoned. We tried the seafood sampler fried fish, calamari, shrimp and oysters. Every single bite tased like water, we grosssd out half way through it. I’m guessing the owner of this place doesn’t like salt maybe? Idk but we left hungry and went somewhere else.

Really delicious! We got there right before the lunch rush. We had the 2 person dinner and chose brisket and fried fish with 2 sides (coleslaw and French fries). We also ordered the jalapeno bombers appetizer! Super delicious! Not too salty, not too sweet. Simply perfect

The food was plentiful and the tea was great! We had a sweet waitress and the food was quickly served. Wonderful people working here. My only dislike was the bbq sauce but the bbq didn’t need a lick of it. I should have tried a different bottle or asked for another sauce but like I said, I didn’t think it needed any it. Several people coming into this place for dine in and to go orders

It’s a small, no-frills kind of spot with a laid-back vibe. We didn’t try the seafood this time, but the baked loaded potato was absolutely delicious—definitely a standout! Prices were pretty average, nothing too steep, which is always a plus.
If you’re in the area and looking for a simple, satisfying meal, it’s worth stopping by. Hoping to try the seafood next time!

The food was wonderful and it’s so amazing that the fried fish is flounder. All of the fried fish, shrimp, oysters and calamari were crunchy, not oily and had great flavor. Steak fries were great and the sides were also good. Portions are huge and the staff are beyond friendly and attentive. Prices are good for the amount you receive. The whole family loved it and we can’t wait to come back.

Had 2 meat BBQ plate with fried fish. The fish and brisket were great. Baked potatoes was good. The coleslaw was a little bland. Ribs did not fall off the bone. I think they could have used more smoking time, BBQ sauce was a little runny, starter and cocktail were very good. Overall great experience.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The from the food to the service. First off I want to say how much we appreciated Nikki who assisted with our order and service she is absolutely top notch. If you can grab a seat in her section. The food came out quickly which wad awesome. We had a sampler appetizer to start with with was very good and a good portion of food as well. We had the fried shrimp and a large loaded baked potato which was in my opinion perfect. Everything came out hot and fresh. Their desserts look delicious but only one of was still hungry enough to order the banana pudding. Overall I definitely recommend this place for over-all variety and service. I will definitely be eating here again.

Meh… We went for the seafood. We both got fish and shrimp. Neither were that good. Shrimp tasted a bit old and the fish were average at best. On the plus side, my son and nephew got loaded baked potatoes and loved them. Service was good and prices average. I’d say go for the “regular food” not the seafood and you should be good.
