The Shack is the perfect little bar and grill if you’re looking for a true island-vibe experience
. It has that relaxed, easygoing atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The menu is limited, but honestly, an evening on the island is more about the setting and experience than an extensive food list—and they still do a great job with what they offer. The grilled fish tacos and burger were both surprisingly tasty and hit the spot after a day at the beach.
What really made the night was the live music and dancing—a perfect way to wrap up the day with great energy, ocean air, and a fun crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping for if you want to enjoy the local atmosphere and unwind the right way

Highly recommend! Ambiance is top notch beach vibes and chill atmosphere. Live bands play 5 nights of the week and the band playing tonight was great. It’s pretty loud though for talking with a group. The service was great. They were busy with a wedding party but the server was able to make sure we got menus and take our orders! She seemed very on top of it all. Fun drinks to try and we had the conch fritters to share (5 pieces). The sauce and seasoning were really good. Our party of 4 had the shack burger & 3 orders of crispy fish tacos with various sides. The fries were good with nice seasoning. And the tacos were delicious with some great toppings. A must stop if you are in the area! One of two good food joints in the area!

This place was a very cute hidden gem! It was tucked away by the beach and I loved their look! They have a bar, a food truck where the food is made and clean, air conditioned bathrooms! The food was pretty good! I got the black bean burger and the mango marg and fries and my man got their regular burger with the mango marg as well with a side of truffle fries! Everything was good and we even got a second drink each! I got the banana marg which was really tasty and my man got some Smokey drink I forgot the name! There were so many animals here! Chickens, a dog, and some kittens! They did not bother anyone and they stayed away from the tables for the most part! They have a sign that says don’t feed the animals. Overall, very cute place to get lunch and then head over to the beach!! I loved how there was plenty of parking and no fees! And how close it was to the beach!

If I could rate this 10 stars, I would. We ordered the mahi bites and shrimp tacos and the food was out of this world. The passion fruit aioli is to die for. This has been the best food we have tried on St. Thomas yet!!

We stopped here for a casual dinner wanting to listen to the band. Shrimp tacos and fries were delicious. Black bean burger was very good too. There’s a lot of flavor in these simple dishes for sure. We hung around without being rushed to wait for the band to start. Service and atmosphere is what we’d expect Would visit The Shack again.

Such a great place at Hull Bay Beach. You would never know how much fun or quality of food to expect in a hidden gem next to the beach.
The food and drinks were absolutely incredible, the bathrooms were so clean and the vibe and music was so much fun hanging out there. A must see in St. Thomas and worth the trip from the other side of the island.
You need to make yourself seen at the bar or at least be patient to be served, but that is island time.

What a cool place! The food is so good, we were greeted immediately, and the atmosphere is gorgeous! It’s right across from beautiful Hull Bay Beach. What a hidden gem!

Some of the best food on the island by far. Started with Ahi bites which were excellent. Ordered poke bowl and shrimp tacos. Easily the best poke bowl I’ve ever had ! Super fresh and refreshing! Vibe is awesome and laid back. We even got to sit in swings by the bar to eat our food.

I am so glad that I found this place. It was such a cute spot on Hull Bay. I ordered the fried fish tacos and they were the best fish tacos I have ever had. My husband ordered the chicken tenders and highly enjoyed them as well as the fries. They were seasoned perfectly. Our server was fantastic I would highly recommend this place of your visiting St. Thomas. I might even have to go back before we leave!!!!!
