Stop on in! Chicken tenders/fingers are just like we make at home. Burgers and fries are perfect. The place isn’t a chain restaurant with 100 soda flavors….you get a can of whatever 5 sodas are available and a cup of ice (and of course plenty of tea). Our server was nice. We enjoyed talking with the friendly locals.

Found this hole in the wall, just passing through going to the beach and it was sooooo good!! The place doesn’t look like much on the outside but on the inside, you can definitely tell it’s a true “local” atmosphere. People in there are super nice and welcoming, food is proportionate to prices, and the food itself was very good. My husband got a Buffalo chicken sandwich, I got the shack burger with okra and my daughter got the mini corn dogs. All good, veggies on sandwiches were super fresh, okra tasted like they just picked it themselves. Just absolutely nothing but great things about this place. Yall should definitely check it out.

This is our 2nd time at the Shack. I ordered the fish this time & it was really, really good. Loved thehush puppies, too. Sadly, there was no cake this time,but that means we’ll get to go again soon because the cake alone is worth the drive up!

We stopped at this small local restaurant on the way to the beach. Don’t let the exterior appearance deter you, it almost did us if it hadn’t gotten such great reviews. My husband had a fish sandwich which was the best fish we had on our entire trip! Much better than the beach front restaurants and a fraction of the price. I got a burger and it was good as well, think upgrades ballpark hamburger. The fries were also great! It was packed inside but there were some tables outside that were perfect for us so that we could stretch our legs! Would highly recommend!!
