My husband, toddler and I stopped to eat lunch at The Shack today. Our hostess was very polite and quick. There were maybe 3 other groups of patrons already in the small restaurant. The bathroom was very clean with updated technology, the food was delicious, and the space was very cute! If we’re ever in the area again we’d certainly stop for a bite and recommend this spot to friends! I’d like to try the wings or one of the burgers next time.
I ordered the house salad with grilled chicken and jalapeño ranch, my husband ordered the Meat Sweats Pizza, and we split the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls (the dip was spicy but good)! My toddler got the kids mac and cheese, which my husband and I both tried, and it was way better than any other kids mac we’ve ordered for him elsewhere.

Amazing little place for dine in or take out. Love their Mac and cheese, pulled pork sandwiches, fish and chips… we’ve ordered 2 of their Mac and cheeses for take out a few times. They’re usually good for 2-3 meals for 3 people (depending on what you’re serving them with).

1st time here and I enjoyed my chicken sandwich. Personally I would add pickle on or with it but that’s just my opinion It’s big and messy but good and love the “chips” just the right amount of potato. Now I was teased with a house sauce and then she forgot to put in our to go order so that was a bummer but overall I would definitely go back and try a new item

I would like to give Alli (server) and Janee (Owner)… excuse spelling if names are wrong.. a 10 star review. The Lord blessed me today!! Alli and Janee went above the call of duty. They were super personable, gave out of this world customer service, the pizza and Mac and cheese were bar none best around, and Janee the owner actually helped us with several requests, and she was awesome to talk to, gave us insight into the food and was a bright light. I eat at alot of places and I am not a local but I would travel 100 miles just to experience this kind of atmosphere, great people, perfect food and the kindness and friendliness of angels. My tough day was completely made better by these 2. I would recommend families and anyone who is hungry in any surrounding area to gather your whole family and come on down to The Shack. You will leave with your next visit already on your google calender. We were having a work lunch and it has turned into a place i plan on revisiting very often. Thank you Jesus, Janee and Alli.

It’s kind of a hole in the wall kind of place, in a building that has been many other businesses over the years. They have renovated. Very casual. We’ve been twice since they opened. Food is good, but I think a little overpriced for what you get. Pizza was very tasty. Also had a fish sandwich which didn’t have much taste. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were good but pricy for what you get. Service was fine. Not my first choice for a place to eat in Chapin, but good if you don’t mind paying a little more.

The food was amazing. The buffalo wings were so fresh they were steaming. Also the wings were so delicious. The Shack Double Stack Burger was very good and their house sauce was basic but still good. The waitress was very nice. I loved the theming of the restaurant. The menu was cute and all the options sounded so tasty. The food came out very fast and was very fresh. The fries were very crispy and tasted so good. One of the best places I’ve tried recently.
Overall a great place to bring a few friends for affordable great food with great service. Where all the workers are very friendly.

My father and I went to try it out on Good Friday and were not disappointed!! It’s only been open a short while so they are still working out the kinks and fine tuning it, but it is 100% worth the visit. We both had the fish sandwich and the fries which were top notch. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. They have a good selection of beers and wines and a fun inviting atmosphere. We loved our server and the owners came by the table as well to check in. We will go back again to try many more of the dishes and the experience with our family.

Had an amazing lunch with my daughter in law and granddaughter! I was thinking pizza, but decided to have the burger instead. Whew! No regrets! I had it with mustard, chilli, slaw, onions and pickles and it was incredible! Draft beer was cold and the service was phenomenal! Can’t wait to go back for a repeat…

We tried the shack out and we were definitely NOT disappointed! The portions were great for the price and the fish sandwich I ordered was one of the best I’ve ever had. The mozzarella bricks were wonderful as well. We definitely will be back!
