Dinner here with my family today was the worst.
I paid money to find out why yelp’s reviews were bad. The price was too expensive compared to the quality and contents of the food, and I wondered why I had to pay to eat this kind of food. Please don’t make the same mistake I did…..

Understaffed: Our hostess was our server. We had to wait forever to be seated bc she was waiting on tables.

Food/Drink: Very basic and lacked flavor.

Service: Horrible. 1) Booked a Fire Pit experience via Open Table (confirmed) but it was not reflected in their system. 2) Was told they were ‘out’ of Rose by the glass and could only order a bottle. When questioned they had 1 glass worth. 3) They were out of milk chocolate for the s’mores desert and gave us Hersheys cookies and cream instead. 4) Glass of water had lipstick stains! 5) Glasses and trash from prior patrons were left on the ledge where we were sitting.

Overall: Do NOT come here unless you want to drink bottled water and enjoy the view.

We did not get our reserved table for 8 people for our special New Year’s Eve dinner. The manager was very rude and not helpful at all.

We had our civil ceremony lunch here with our close friends and family and we had an amazing time. From the planning process with Anthony, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, to our waiter Jake, and Manager Sabit, the staff were all attentive and really accommodating. As soon as we got there, the staff came out and introduced themselves which we appreciated. We had one special request for a Vegan dish and the Chef went above and beyond to accommodate. Overall, the food and drinks were amazing. Huge thank you for making our special day that much more memorable. We will definitely come back. Thanks all!

Went here for Mother’s Day and will never be coming back. It’s a pretty atmosphere, but the service was quite terrible. We had a reservation right when it opened, and though we were the first to arrive, did not get our food for an hour and a half. Most other guests also have been waiting an hour and a half for their food, though it wasn’t busy at all. They have one kitchen managing two restaurants, and we kept having to ask the staff multiple times for anything. The server kept telling us our food would be out any second, four times, every ten minutes. The service and time was so terrible I don’t ever want to return, unless you love waiting around for long periods of time.

The worst chicken wings I’ve ever had. They were served black and powdery, totally unrecognizable and very expensive of course.

Sat us at 12:51 when they stopped serving at 1. Eggs Benedict came out in less than 15 minutes, drinks arrived in less then 10. Biscuits with honey butter are the only ones west of the Mississippi worth having. Would come here for brunch any day and the entire staff were so friendly and professional, will be back and starving for more as soon as possible.

The Set restaurant, the only hotel restaurant open for dinner, is ridiculously situated away from the kitchen, so that all of the food has to be carried by hand through the entire lobby, past people waiting to be seated. Only a portion of the plates are covered, making it susceptible to the germs of the people and animals moving throughout the area.
We eat at Set two nights and both times the wait was inexcusable: 40 minutes, and then 130 minutes. The first night, the delay was blamed on the servers: three servers attending nine tables (30+ open tables.) The second night, the delay was blamed on the kitchen: 35 people seated, 70+ open seats. The host made a point to come to the table to lay blame on the kitchen and everyone else (sans apology) – except he was the one that told us originally 40 minutes, which turned into 2+ hours.
At least 25% of the small menu was unavailable, so we ended up waiting for something that we didn’t really want.

What an amazing place wit great people! My wife and I cancelled our reservation for Convivo at the Santa Barbara Inn due to an issue with the previous evenings dinner on Christmas Eve. We stopped in to the Hilton and asked the hostess at the Hilton if she had any tables for dinner and she was so kind and gracious and stated yes, no problem. She took us to a table and my wife asked for the Hightower booth and she graciously accommodated the request. She was so nice and graceful..thanks so much. We had a wonderful server who brought us some great cocktails. We ordered the specials on the Christmas menu and I had the pumpkin ravioli and my wife had the organic chicken dish. Both were awesome. I commend and thank the staff and management for a job well done and we had a great time. Highly recommended.

We dined there last week (on a Tuesday night) and the young girl that served us left us feeling like we did not matter and she just wanted to be away from us. We would ask her for things that wouldn’t come until we asked her again. We observed others being served with no issue. Then my check was wrong and it took her “fixing it” THREE times before it was actually correct. Food was really good but poor (or selective) service says a lot.
