We started with the Hariyali Chicken Tikka, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Chinese Bhel was definitely the limelight of our table — crispy, tangy, and absolutely delicious! For the main course, we ordered Murgh Alamgir with Onion Garlic Naan, and it was rich, aromatic, and full of authentic flavors.
Thank you, Mihir, for making our dining experience even more special. Can’t wait to visit again!
Our server, Nima, was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. He checked in at the right times and made us feel really welcome.
Overall, it was just a really enjoyable night out with great food and great service. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
Special thanks to Pavna who was very welcoming at the front and our server Divyansh who recommened many of the items we ordered. He was amazing and truly made the experience great.
We ordered:
-Nawabi Lamb chop Tajdaar
-Tandoori chicken momo
-Raspberry romance
-Mango Dahi Puri Chaat
-Virgin Bloody Old Monk
-Awadhi Gosht Biryani
-Murgh Alamgir
-Butter Naan
-Laccha Paratha
-Gulab Jamun Flambe
The food was delicious, proper spicy, and so flavourful. A very elevated dining experience than most Indian / Hakka / fusion restaurants. The mango dahi puri was my favourite — perfect in texture and flavour blending sweet and savoury ✨
The atmosphere is really appealing to look at – blending in different traditional and modern elements, colours, textures and prints.
The service was good overall, we got a soda that tasted off so they offered to replace it without any charge or issues and were really and accommodating. Will definitely have to come back to try other things on the menu and their desserts!
The service was top-notch, and a special shoutout to Sneha for taking such great care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better without ever making us feel rushed.
Everything came together perfectly — great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! ️✨
Overall, our experience was a mixed bag:
1. Positives:
a. Service was very good. Ridhi did a great job taking care of our table and providing timely service.
b. Vegan options were tasty and consistently good.
c. Live music was brilliant!
2. Improvements:
a. Inconsistent food quality. Some items were good, few were too salty and others were confusing. For example: “Chinese Bhel” was just Hakka noodles (all though it was tasty!). I couldn’t relate this with bhel. I was told by my friends that paneer was not marinated well and the mutton was soggy.
b. For a high-end fine dining restaurant – I would expect coat check, cloth napkins (instead of paper napkins). These were absent.
c. Price. No qualms over paying premium price. But premium price needs to be accompanied by consistent food quality (needs improvement here).
Will we give this place another try? Maybe, but over weekday instead of weekend.
On the good side, the music was good next time and it wasnt crowded that we personally like, there cheese roti and rosemary roti were also good. Also the staff who serves, is surely good as they consider what you are asking them atleast. But I would say, I liked the Ahmedabad one more than this.
The music was a bit loud when we first arrived and made conversation difficult, but once we asked, the volume was lowered, which improved the experience. The food presentation was good, but the overall taste felt slightly lacking compared to expectations. The naan was quite hard and not as soft or fresh as it should be, which made it harder to enjoy with the curries. For dessert, the French toast was okay, but the bread tasted more like whole wheat and wasn’t very enjoyable. Using brioche bread instead would really enhance the flavor and texture. Overall, a nice place for ambiance and service, with room for improvement in food quality.
The Secret Kitchen offers amazing Indian food with a huge menu full of delicious options—there’s truly something for everyone. The atmosphere is beautiful, from the decor to the plates and utensils, and the entire place is very clean. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
The alcohol drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
There was a live band, which was a cool addition, but it was very loud—lower volume or more of a background-music vibe would’ve been perfect. We were seated at a booth in the back, and the seating was a bit awkward since the bench was low and the table was quite high. The rest of the restaurant seemed to have normal seating, though.
Overall, great food, great service, and a beautiful spot. Would definitely go back!
