Good waitstaff service seems like it’s getting harder to find these days…but at this place it feels a big happy family is happy to serve you. We got a caramel latte and pumpkin latte, breakfast burrito and huevos rancheros both with potatoes. Everything was out of this world. We had no room for desert but the case was so tempting with tall NY cheesecake, chocolate cake, key lime pie, pecan pie, orange cake and gluten free cheesecake that we decided to hike 5 miles and come back for cake and coffee :). We live in Wisconsin and drive 1.5 hours to the airport, fly 3 hours to Phoenix and then drive 2 hours to Sedona and we know Sedona has other places for breakfast but this place is so good with such great staff that we always come here! They have indoor seating, outdoor seating and even a grass turf outside. You feel like a king and queen the way you are treated here. I just wish we had a place like this in Wisconsin. I highly recommend the secret garden!

Secret Garden Café is a cute spot tucked away in Tlaquepaque with charming decor and a cozy atmosphere. I really like that they support local companies — you won’t find the big-name beverage brands here, which adds to the local feel.

We ordered a mix of dishes: corn chowder, huevos rancheros, the famous quiche, and a breakfast burrito. The food was good — classic breakfast fare that starts the day off right. Nothing spectacular, but that’s perfectly fine; it’s just solid, well-made breakfast. I also appreciated the potato variety served as the side, which was a nice touch and added some personality to the meal.

Overall, a pleasant stop for breakfast or brunch — cozy, thoughtful, and relaxed, even if not particularly memorable.

We didn’t expect to find such a great restaurant in Tlaquepaque Village! My husband and I are vegetarians and my sister’s family loves meat. And then we had two dogs with us! The menu was varied enough to have options for all of us, including the dogs. They shared a beef patty and loved it =)
Lots of good vegetarian dishes, everything was very fresh and not frozen. My husband had the veggie burger (tasty and not dry) with corn chowder (yum!!). I had the vegan chopped salad which was also delicious.
My sister’s family had the short ribs and steak Caesar salad. Portions were generous and tasted great. Prickly pear lemonade was a sweet treat!
Large outdoor patio was shielded with a large clear plastic covering that kept in the warmth and made dining outside with the pups comfortable.

My second time coming here while visiting Sedona, and I absolutely love it! The secret garden vibe is so fun and serene. I’ve sat on the back patio before, and this time at the coffee bar, which is first come, first serve, just an FYI if there’s a wait.

The breakfast menu is fairly simple but still delicious, healthy, not greasy, and it leaves you feeling good. If you sit at the bar, the baristas are also your servers, and they can get pretty busy, which is good to keep in mind, but the service was still great.

I haven’t had the chance to try lunch or dinner yet, but breakfast and coffee are lovely. I believe they stop serving pancakes and French toast after 11, if I remember correctly. We went on a Sunday and it was very busy, but everything moved quickly and smoothly.

Everything here is prepared fresh from the rolls to salad dressings and veggie burgers. One of the best veggie burgers.

Busy place but wait time not so bad. Full bar service. Nice seating on the patio.

Only downside: One unisex bathroom. Constant line to use it, they need to add another.

Overall, nice cafe for lunch and everything fresh.

What a wonderful breakfast! The service people are friendly, attentive and quick. The ambience is so calming – my favorite is the pothos plants hanging on the ceiling above the bar!!!! The food was delicious and did not leave me feeling like I just ate too much. Perfect portions. Highly recommend The Secret Garden

Tried going here for brunch on Sunday…not a chance. Went back on Wednesday and walked right in and grabbed two seats at the bar. Quiche Lorraine, GF Panckaes (honestly some of the best I have ever had) and Avacado Toast. Great coffee, friendly staff and super good Food at fair prices. Given the location I expected to pay more. Secret tip…..come in and order a coffee from the walk up bar and get free refills same day before 5pm!!

Good food, lots of healthy options. My partner and I got the bistro burger and caprese sandwich. Very cute patio dining with cute plants. Nice and clean bathroom. Only a 15 minute wait for lunch on a busy valentines weekend! Fresh and in house made ingredients. Good vegetarian/vegan options. Can’t wait to come back to try their breakfast items!

Charming little restaurant. We stopped there for a late breakfast. Food was fantastic, maybe just a little overpriced. Dog, friendly, great staff, and again the food was very fresh and very good.
