The food & service was excellent. We had the baked artichoke dip with fresh sliced bread as an appetizer and Rosa linguini as an entree. We shared the food together and were impressed by how amazing it was. There were many items I wanted to try that I never had like the warm goat cheese pecan salad, the bourbon bread pudding, and the turkey jelly sandwich. The ambience was clean & spacious despite how small the area was inside and the tiny bathrooms.
The only thing I was not able to have was second filling of coffee. It was still brewing when it came to our time to leave.

Delicious! We’ve been here twice now, and both times were superb. Staff was VERY attentive, our drinks never ran dry. Food is served quickly, and they are happy to make accommodations (I love French toast, but I prefer to add my own syrup, they were happy to put it on the side for me). Highly recommend ❤️ pictures don’t properly convey how flavorful everything was.

Cutest little spot for brunch with a friend or your significant other. The service was great all around. Each employee came around to check on us and make sure we were okay. Potato bacon soup had great flavor, but could have been a lot warmer. Breakfast sandwich was delicious. Shrimp & grits were tasty, but the sauce was too much and just okay. Next time I’ll ask for it on the side. The one thing I will say is to educate your staff on wine so that when we ask a question we won’t get an answer that I know isn’t correct about a particular type of wine.

The breakfast is delicious. The Salmon was cooked to perfection. It’s team service environment so you may have multiple servers but all of ours was great . The outside is cool to have breakfast if you’re ok with bees…we moved inside. Inside is typical… nothing amazing as far decor. This is in a cute town to walk around after breakfast. The pecan salad was delicious.

Brunch at The Secret Garden Cafe in Occoquan was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is warm and charming and it feels like a true hidden gem in the heart of town. Our brunch plates were fresh and flavorful but the highlight of the entire meal was the Coconut Cake. The slice was a very generous portion and so moist and rich with perfectly sweet coconut frosting. It is easily one of the best coconut cakes I have had anywhere. If you come for brunch this dessert is a must order.

Hosted a girls brunch and the Secret garden and it was filled with pure deliciousness! The atmosphere is delightful with seats both inside and outside. Outside seating includes a beautiful garden and picture ready scenes for the entire group! The inside seating continues the small quaint theme. For brunch they offer mimosas of multiple flavors! The shrimp and grits was out of the world and French toast a great treat enough to take some home for later! Highly recommend visiting this great cafe!

We had breakfast. Just a lovely place and wonderful meals. Attentive staff make the visit even better. Only reason not 5 stars for the food was we only had breakfast. Looking forward to a nice dinner there next month!

I saw a TikTok review of The Secret Garden and immediately got inspired to try it out. TikTok definitely did not lie ✨. We went during the week, so it wasn’t busy, and we were lucky enough to snag a cozy outdoor seat by the pond. Honestly, the vibes alone were worth the trip .
I ordered the hanger steak, and it was delicious. But the real star of the show was the potato cake. That thing stole my heart instantly . I was sitting there like, why is this potato so good and where has it been all my life?
I enjoyed it so much that I came back a few more times and even brought friends with me so they could experience the magic too. When a place turns you into a repeat customer and a tour guide, you know it’s good .
Definitely recommend giving this cafe a try. It’s a gem worth discovering.

We first had an appetizer of Artichoke Dip, I had the Spanish Breakfast w/chicken, friend had the Shrimp & Grits, and two extra fried eggs on the side for all, coffee and a strawberry lemonade. This was a delicious breakfast at a beautiful European style cafe!

This is such a cute spot to go to. The food was very good. I recommend the artichoke dip appetizer. I went during a weekday and it wasn’t too full. Anyways , I still recommend calling ahead. The place where it’s located is a bit small and reduced and sometimes parking is a bit of a hassle. Please drive slow and carefully. If you wanna go for a small walk after you can walk around this little town. Lots to see! There is a bridge where you can take cute pictures and just have a chat with a friend or loved one , you just turn left when you head out the restaurant and go all the way down to the end of the road where bathrooms are located as well.
