Let me tell you…..It has been a long time since I have truly enjoyed eating out, but last night was amazing. They are a family owned restaurant, and the customer service/satisfaction is out of this world. They do everything they can to make you feel right at home and ensure you thoroughly enjoy your experience. We got fried okra (no pictures cause we ate it so fast), ribeye, smoked spinach dip, chicken fried bison, cheesecake. Everything was amazing, crunchy, soft, flavorful, and just absolutely enjoyed every last bite. It’s a tiny restaurant next to an awesome tap room to get a drink while you wait. I will definitely be back.

Look this is probably no surprise if you’ve been to The Chuckwagon or Hammond’s but The Seared Steer Steakhouse is out of this world phenomenal! Jared and Deidre and the rest of the Hammond family and Chef Jenn are an absolute blessing to the culinary experience in Colorado Springs! Our waitress Tara was so sweet, attentive and kept our water glasses full and checked in on us frequently without being overbearing or making us feel rushed.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary and had a nice card on our table when we arrived.
The food… The smoked spinach artichoke dip had a creamy texture and wonderful smokey flavor. The chips are fried in beef tallow and are perfectly crunchy and salted to compliment the dip.
The filet mignon is oh so tender and cooked to perfection. Perfect sear and smokey flavor. Absolutely amazing!
The fried brussel sprouts are literally the best I’ve ever had. Wow!
And now for this delicate perfect piece of lemon cake. It just couldn’t get any better. (Seriously)
So believe the hype, check back frequently and get your reservation for dinner! ❤️

Hands down best steakhouse in the springs! All steaks are smoked and seasoned to perfection! Don’t even get me started on the green beans! Large portions and super affordable! Shout out to our server, Dawson, who did an unbelievable job! Unique atmosphere being connected to a taproom, but it really made our night. We enjoyed being able to try all different beers/cocktails!

By day, it’s Hammond’s Deli. But when the sun sets, it transforms into Seared Steer Steakhouse—a culinary experience so unforgettable, you’ll be dreaming about it long after the last bite. Trust me, this isn’t just dinner; it’s a revelation.
You’d better get in before the city’s best-kept secret goes public. I wasn’t about to miss opening night—had to strap on KT tape and brace my ankle just to make it through the door after my injury. And let me tell you, totally worth it.

The Seared Steer Steakhouse 15/10 recommend!!! I cannot believe I didn’t take photos of our food ♀️ the The Cowboy Cut Ribeye melted in my mouth. Not going to lie, it required a moment of silence as I chewed the first bite. The tallow fried Brussels sprouts were the most incredible Brussels I’ve ever had! My husband has the Chicken Fried Bison and holy smokes I’ve never had bison and it was so tender and moist! And can we talk about this lemon cake?! Everything from the atmosphere, staff and food- NAILED IT! Knocked it out the park.
Checkout their page, their food looks identical to their photos since I failed in that dept. Reservations Required so book early!

We all know not to come on opening night but the thought of chicken fried buffalo with homemade gravy, we had to go!! It was absolutely Texas amazing!! It truly was the size of the plate. The steaks were fabulous!! Cooked perfectly!! The sides were very very good!! I do not like Brussels sprouts but I was eating them off of friends plates!!! Good luck guys from a former Texas restaurant/meat market owner. Thank you for a killer chicken fry!!! We will be back!!

We were invited to experience this new steakhouse. I had high hopes. Read some positive Google reviews, but it didn’t impress at all. The concept is great. We love Chuckwagon 719 for their bque. Same owners here. We had a table of 6. We ordered two prime ribs, a filet, the buffalo fried steak, and a porterhouse. The filet was not impressive. Small and thin with a lot of gristle. The prime was just ok. It didn’t melt in your mouth, and the porterhouse was meant to be cooked medium. It wasn’t. It was rare to med rare. We split it. Off the bone. The gristle was awful to navigate through. We didn’t send it back and just powered through. The buffalo got a thumbs up. The mashed potatoes were garlic mashed and not warm. The taproom was cool and we had descent beer from there. I hope they improve with their choices of beef and their cooking techniques. But there are way better places to eat steak. Pricing was descent.

Had a reservation for 2 weeks and when we got there half of the beer on tap was sold out, then we ordered our food and after 15 minutes the waiter came out and said all the food we ordered was off the menu for the night.
We spent a lot of money and none of us could get anything we wanted to order
