WOZERS… this place was amazing. The food was delicious. We found this place from the Google reviews and it didnt disappoint!!! Lolly greeted us with an amazing smile and helped these 1st timers with how the restaurant works, made amazing suggestions for food, coffee and dessert. She went above and beyond for my allergies making sure to note the oder AND went back to let the kitchen know personally about my allergies… The food was ON POINT! We ordered the Hungry Pirate and the Basic Plate.. the blueberry pancakes were full of blueberry and the over medium eggs were perfect and salted. The turkey sausage was delicious. The house made bagels were perfectly soft and toasty.
The Lavender Honey Latte was tasty, not too sweet and the perfect blend of flavors.

We got to meet the owner Matt Scullery, who was on the floor running food and greeting tables with an apron like one of the staff. Matt is dope and you can tell the vibe of this place and the other workers are a direct reflection of his amazing energy and leadership….

We will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

I have worked a couple of blocks from The Scullery for about six months now, and have heard really good things about their food. I went to work one day without bringing breakfast, so I decided to order takeout. I went inside and placed my order at the counter. I got a side of cheddar cheese grits and then a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel (with no blue cheese). They asked me which bagel I wanted my sandwich on and how I wanted my eggs cooked. I got the garlic parmesan bagel and asked for my eggs to be scrambled. I waited a little less than 10 minutes for my food. While waiting for my food, I looked around inside. They have a lot of local art for sale, which is super cool, and the tables that they have are chalkboards. I love that and would love to come in some time to draw. I then took it back to my work and ate it, and really enjoyed it. The bagel sandwich was very filling and full of flavor. The garlic parmesan bagel was a little salty, but it was not terrible. The cheddar cheese grits were creamy, but they needed some salt, which I added. After adding the salt, it tasted amazing and had a great texture. The people who were working were incredibly personable and friendly. It was a very comfortable environment. I also thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, I had a nice time here and would definitely come back.

Definitely recommend for a heart breakfast and strong coffee. We had a small wait but they were very friendly and got us in quick. The food was delicious and the coffee was strong if that’s your thing!

The Scullery has really nailed the ‘hometown feel’ in both their brand and their space. The interior design is warm, local, and intentional—exactly what their marketing sets you up to expect. The staff is just as welcoming, creating a personable experience that makes you want to come back. Consistent branding, great atmosphere, and even better service.

I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich without the Mushroom. As a Nigerian new immigrants with tastes buds that’s not yet adapted to the American taste, I must confess it was remarkably delicious and different from most other sandwich I’ve had here.

Thumbs up to the Chef. I fully recommend

We visited this spot for the first time and were a little taken back by the process of looking at the menu/ordering/and paying AND tipping first before being seated. I understand this is how coffee shops usually work but with it being a restaurant style breakfast place it felt a bit strange to tip based on service we haven’t had yet. Following that when ordering hash browns I wasn’t expecting actual chopped up cubes of potato. But I wasn’t mad after I tried them they were good. French toast was a good size and tasted fine, same for the pancakes. Vanilla latte was decent and my partner’s cold brew was also fine. Overall I think it was an “okay” experience that felt kind of hurried, nothing really made us feel like it was good or great. May give it another chance at some point as it seems like a nice community place.

This place is beyond what you’d expect. So many establishments this close to campuses are simply student hole-in-the-walls. But not The Skullery… the menu offers a great selection of options and the food was absolutely FANTASTIC. And I mean that literally! For what we paid, we got heaping plates of well prepared food and fresh fruit.

And the staff…. they were humming! There was a line out the door, but it moved. These folks acknowledged everyone who came in and our gal working the tables checked on us frequent enough to be very helpful but not intrusive.

This is a MUST STOP IN when you’re in Greenville.

I stopped by The Scullery for the first time recently, and it honestly felt like a place I’d been going to for years. The vibe is super cozy and welcoming, with handwritten menus, local art, and a layout that just feels easy to settle into.
What stood out to me (besides the great food) was how intentional their marketing is. There were little signs to follow them on Instagram, flyers for local events, and a punch card for coffee—all simple things, but they made me feel like they actually care about their community and regulars.
Later, I checked out their socials and it was so consistent with the in-person experience—nothing overly polished, just real moments, great food, and the people behind it. That kind of authenticity is rare and really refreshing.
The staff were super kind too—helpful with the menu and just easy to talk to. You can tell they’re proud of what they do. I’m already planning my next visit.
