The Scoop is a hidden gem in downtown Prestonsburg. The atmosphere has that quaint old-town charm with a fresh, modern flair. Love the option of outdoor seating—great for people-watching during the day or enjoying some peace in the evening.
The staff is super friendly and lets you sample any flavor before choosing. I went with the Oreo milkshake, and it was incredible: smooth, creamy, with the perfect Oreo-to-ice-cream blend. The chocolate drizzle inside the cup was a nice touch, and the homemade whipped cream on top sealed the deal.
Delicious, fun vibe, and definitely worth coming back for.

Such a cool place! Absolutely friendly staff! The selection is amazing and you can sample! The ice cream was delicious! You really need to go check them out! It’s worth the drive! And as the sign says, “Ice Cream Solves Everything!”

Nice clean place inside and out. Cool old building with nice ceilings inside. The staff are helpful and friendly. The large frozen ice is giant! Would return again, in a nice area in downtown.
