Wednesday, February 18, 2026- Went for an after meeting snack. Friendly atmosphere, fast and polite service. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. Well, let me say that this sandwich was off-the-hook fabulous! I asked for well done bacon and received crunchy, tasty bacon the whole way through. The “Sayville Sauce” is out of this world. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. Next month’s meeting will end with coming back to this establishment. Thank you to the wait-staff, bartender, cook and manager for a really enjoyable meal!

Fall is holding the warmth of Summer with a perfect Sunday for watching the game or having an afternoon lunch. The speciality cocktail, a Cinnamon Whiskey Sour was fabulous- cool and refreshing. The outdoor seating was generous and worked well. Service was friendly and fine. A long time restaurant that continues to serve well.

The seasoned waffle fries were the crispest and least greasy we’ve ever had.
The manhattan clam chowder was clearly a homemade endeavor as the clams were perfectly tender and not even the slightest bit chewy, a sign of them being added after the soup was prepared.
The French dip was perfectly portioned with very tender meat, and due to being rolled in a house made flatbread, left adequate room for the riverbottom pie, pictured, which lasted mere minutes. Great job on the subtle salinity in the oreo crust, which enhanced the coffee flavor of the filling.

One of my favorite places to go while in the Sayville area in New York. The food is always great… Servers are always attentive and write on the spot. The place is usually very crowded so with regard to atmosphere it has a Jolly well lived in feel. Every time I’ve been there it has been spot on with regard to the seafood and specials. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic candlelight place this is probably not for you. This is a fun place with lots of people enjoying great food. Bartenders are always talkative and fun and very welcoming. I have been going to the Sayville Inn for the better part of 35 years in this new incarnation is wonderful. Whatever the owner is doing is working. Well done!!!

Love this quaint family friendly restaurant. Owners & staff are very warm & welcoming. Food is great. They also have a small party room with history. I have reserved several parties here and we are never disappointed. Highly recommend.

Sayville Inn is a landmark for sure. We like taking the family there for an early dinner or brunch. The tacos are amazing. We love their desserts. The people are friendly and the service is quick. Great place to take the family or with your friends just to hang out!!! They do get busy so I suggest trying to make a reservation…

I had the capris I salad which was the best I ever had…. The chicken was thin and moist and the salad blend was everything!! Baby Boston lettuce, butter lettuce and other truly amazing blends. The lemon dressing was perfect! The fish and chips are award worthy.. what a great crust that had a hint of coconut in it. Amazing! Our server/ bartender Liam. Was so attentive and amazing and very handsome (sorry but he is) .. I can see why they have so many regulars ❤️

Had reservations for 6 people and we arrived prior to the reservation time only to be told that there were 2 homecomings and they could not accommodate us. Very disappointed. Second time we had reservations and they did not honor them.
