Happened to pass this place on a DD run and knew I had to stop. Pulled in and was met by some amazing and humble people! The food is great because you can taste the love and care! Pizza is great, the only want is it to be a little bigger. Because when you get that first slice, you don’t stop until it’s gone! The cookies make you feel like you are at home, and they are all fresh and homemade! If you don’t stop and give this a try you are doing yourself a strong disservice!

Our family is extremely upset….. with ourselves for waiting so long to finally try The Saucy Tomato!!! We’d been hearing about this excellent food truck located just about a mile from our house for a while, and after our incredibly delicious dinner tonight, we are kicking ourselves for waiting so long! We will definitely be back… frequently… maybe even tomorrow! “Mommy, this pizza is so good I even ate the crust!” — my 5 year old who never eats the crust.

I love pizza. Like I crave it. And when everyone in Maumelle started posting about how wonderful this place is, I decided to give them a try since they are new and I like to support local businesses. I called to place a phone order and the sweet lady asked that we place the order online which was easy to do. The online ordering system stated the food would be ready soon. My husband got there and there was a slight wait. They kindly gave us two free cookies for the wait. Cookies were delicious.
Now let’s talk pizza. I believe the pizza was not cooked long enough as the pizza slice flopped over as soon as I took a piece which meant all the toppings slid off my slice. The dough tasted almost like raw dough. I also prefer fresh mushroom slices versus the canned version. The saucy sticks also tasted undercooked. The red sauce was delicious .
We will give them another try one day but it will probably be a few more weeks to allow them to figure everything out. Everyone is nice but we came here for the food which wasn’t up to the current hype.

This is the second time I’ve ordered pizza from The Saucy Tomato. The first time, the pizza was very tasty but I thought the dough was a tad soft for my taste. Certainly not bad at all but I thought it could have been cooked a bit longer.
This time, during the online ordering process, I asked for it to be well done. When I picked up my order, the first thing they mentioned was that they baked it longer and asked me to let them know how it turned out. Well, I think the picture speaks for itself. It was baked perfectly and delicious! It’s one thing for the food to be good but it speaks volumes that these folks cared enough to tell me they tried to meet my expectations and then let them know how it turned out.
This is an easy staple on the local food list!

This experience has been one to remember they have high-quality ingredients. They have fair prices. It’s always made to order. It’s fresh it’s local. I love it. It has definitely given me a very content and full belly. I am never bored when stopping at the saucy tomato they have sizes for every occasion, whether your dining alone or seating a family of six the ravioli bites do not disappoint Tonight. I got ravioli bites ravioli cheese bites, ravioli meat bites. I got the pink pasta with onions and grilled chicken combo meal that came with a piece of garlic bread for 799 great prices it was a large amount of food. I got the cookie of the day which happens to be what looks like a no bake rice crispy I could be wrong. It has chocolate in it, but it looks delicious. I am going to be opening that up as soon as I finish this commentary lol I’m sorry I don’t have pictures. I didn’t have any time to take them. The meal is already goneDefinitely give these guys a try if you’ve even been considering it they are worth your time. Great job great recipes wonderful meal and amazing staff keep up the good work. You guys are rocking it.

Owners were very friendly and fun to talk with. The food was incredible! I saw a video on facebook of the alfredo being made and I could barely think about anything else! Which I’m sad because after tasting the meatballs I really wish I had gotten a meatball sub because those meatballs were amazing! And you can not miss out on the cookies! I still crave the orange cream cookie I had when we visited!

For the pizza mainly not worth the price. The pizza tasted like it was cooked on the same oven a cookie was and the sauce was not great for a 1 time experience maybe worth a try. Also the motz stick were not “large” at all very classic size, but were the only item I finished.

My wife and I ate here last night and was blown away. The food here is not only amazing but it’s fresh. Everything is homemade style cooking. Very authentic Italian food. It’s tucked away in it’s own corner with great experiences awaiting for you and your family to try. The pink sauce is a mix of marinara and Alfredo, it’s complemented well with the meatballs. The garlic bread is fresh and homemade so don’t pass it up.
