***Edited to respond to owner*** For your information no I was not looking at an old menu, I ordered straight from Uber eats. Now if thats not the current way you do things then thats a you problem and not a me problem. You need to make sure you are keeping up with what you are selling and the changes. So like I said I did not get what I ordered and now I will change my rating to reflect the owners response. Don’t tell me I did something wrong and also say thanks too because you wanna act like you did nothing wrong. I gave you the screenshot so you cant say I’m wrong.
So when my food arrived the delivery driver handed me this bag with my food in it and when I opened it I thought well they are getting a bad review!! So I decided to wait and taste the food too because there was no way I got enough food I mean i only got 7 shrimp and the menu says ill get 10 shrimp with double hibachi rice. Well even though the other 3 shrimp didnt make it to my plate, LET ME TELL YOU that was some of the best DAMN to go hibachi I’ve ever had!! The rice with their sauce was delicious!! Although I could have eaten 3 more shrimp and maybe another spoonful of rice, it was Great!!

First off the food is amazing. Portions are appropriate, and the flavor is SO savory. We went for lunch and each tried a different protein bowl and sauce; shrimp w/ soy n noodles, salmon w/ cream n noodles, filet mignon w/ siracha n salad. ALL amazing. I especially loved the creamy sauce, but the siracha has heat to it…so, ya know, wherever you’re into…they have other options, but the menu is simple. Second, the atmosphere is COZY, small and dark interior, but clean and open feel. I prefer more light/windows and the Parking is scarce, but, being in an old house it’s a neat place and the theme tracks. Overall good experience for stumbling on this place by accidentally driving by and just going for it! Loved it.

*edit: See my screenshot in response to the owner’s comment. I did NOT order just 1 item, but did re-order the missing entree with my uber refund. There are two different dates showing this. Please own your mistakes and quit looking for ways to blame your customers.*
They always forget part of our order and it makes for a stressful experience each time. We love their food, but it’s unacceptable to only sent 1 entree and think that’s a complete order.. My husband and I have a newborn baby and finding time to eat is already hard enough. We have a very short window of when the baby is down so we can eat together. Ordering out is our only version of a “date night” and they screw us over EVERY time by not sending part of the order. This isn’t once in a while, but EVERY uber order we’ve gotten from them is incomplete. The cherry on top: Nobody will pick up the phone when I call.

Very disappointed with Saucy Hibachi. The food was not good at all, and when I politely mentioned it to the staff, instead of listening or trying to fix the issue, they argued with me. There was no respect or professionalism in how they handled customer feedback. Definitely not worth the money or the trouble — I won’t be coming back.

This was easily the best food experience I’ve had around Denton since I’ve moved here for university. The food is awesome and super cheap for how good it is!

I had a very disappointing experience at Saucy Hibachi. The staff showed no respect toward customers, and instead of admitting or apologizing for their mistake, they chose to argue and act unprofessionally. The way they handled the situation came across as disrespectful and biased, which was extremely upsetting. No customer deserves to be treated this way. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat every customer with fairness and respect.

Waited 50 minutes just for one fried rice—completely unacceptable. When the food finally came, it was bland and greasy, definitely not worth the time or the price. Super disappointed and won’t be coming back.
