Can’t speak highly enough of this place. We went on a snowy day and were warmly greeted by Filip. The Fortunato pizza was excellent; amazing flavours, generous size, great house made sauce and fresh made dough base. Not only that, the ambience inside with the old school photos is absolutely unique and Filip’s service was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially after a big day out.

I very much enjoyed the sandwich shop. I would not so much recommend the sandwiches as I would the pizza however. They do a really nice job and it’s very fresh. The people that work here are extremely nice. I like that this is off the main trail Hidden away. It’s also got a really cool vibe, especially the upstairs eating area. They do have a bathroom, too for people to use. Five stars.

Very, very fun concept and theme. The murals upstairs are amazing and well done, really adding to the atmosphere. The sandwiches (I got the Italian French dip) have the thickest cut roast beef and the yummiest au jus. The seating is also really unique with a loft. A little hidden so it felt exactly like a mafia themed place should – local, too good to be true, and delicious.

Normally when you go to tourist place food is not great or extremely expensive. Here the complete opposite, we found:

A) food taste extraordinary
B) prices are decent compared to destinations
C) customer service it’s incredibly positive! They young guys who take the order was simple above and beyond taking care of us and making sure even giving samples and took excellent care of us and here it’s the key! Places like this are unique

Where’s Tony when you need him?

Honestly, someone call Nonna and have her send Uncle Tony over to politely break some bread—or maybe some legs—because The Sandwich Mafia is disrespecting the family… and the sandwich game. These sandwiches? Fuggedaboutit. Dry, flavorless, and thinner than my cousin Vinny’s patience. If this is what they’re calling a “hit,” then it’s a miss, capisce?

We ordered The Uncle Tony, which comes with salami, pepperoni, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pepperoncini, black olives, and oil & vinegar on a hoagie. This was, without question, the saddest sandwich I’ve ever had the displeasure of paying for. One flimsy slice of each meat and cheese, and the bare minimum of veggies they could legally get away with. If Uncle Tony knew his name was being slapped on this, he’d have made The Sandwich Mafia sleep with the fishes.

Their Instagram? Fugazi. It’s all thick stacks of meat, cheese, and toppings. But what you actually get is a sad, limp excuse for a sandwich. Check the photos I posted if you need the visual heartbreak.

Do yourself a favor—save your appetite, your wallet, and your dignity. Go eat somewhere else. Heck, even Subway would’ve been a hundred times better… and that’s saying something.

Yummiest sandwich I’ve had in a minute. Hands down, one of the better stops in Estes. It’s tucked away in the back of downtown and not crowded. The Chicken Pesto Sandwich is my favorite.

This place was delicious. You go down the little alley and the nice employees all jumped to attention. They made me and my friend a wonderful pesto sandwich, personal pepperoni pizza, and a garlic cheesey bread that I loved. You get to sit upstairs and it’s a nice view of some cabins. Delicious stuff.

This place has a fantastic location. As you walk down Elkhorn Ave, you’ll notice a cool little sign at the start of an alleyway that says “Pizza.” You’ll also find a sign that points you through the alleyway and a menu. I give them credit for including the menu there as well; it makes it easier to decide to eat there without any pressure. Once you reach the end of the alley, you’ll see the entrance. There is a second floor with seating and a bathroom, but you’ll order downstairs. I will say, there isn’t much seating, however, this place is more of a quick lunch before heading back to your stroll.

The service was excellent – friendly and fast. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and something about their dough just tasted great. In my opinion, it was a very good pizza. We definitely enjoyed what this place had to offer. The unique location and delicious pizza make it a must-try!

We loved our meal at The Sandwich Mafia. The gluten-free pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had — the crust was delicious and the veggies (onion and green peppers) were fresh. Excellent service and a clean restroom. Highly recommend!
