This is such a great cafe with great, peaceful ambiance. Lots of different seating areas in several different rooms. Booths, tables, high top tables, counters with seats facing outside and even tables and counter space outside. Great coffee too. I will definitely come here daily when I am in town.

We went to the Sands Cafe together a bite to eat. This is a little delicious deli & It’s a LOGE camp also. “Live Outdoors Go Explore” We grabbed a sandwich, chip’s & a soda & ate outdoors. Inside tables space is limited as they remodel. They also sell Serf & skateboard s also clothing. Surfboard & wetsuit rentals are available too. We went out back to enjoy the campfire and live local musicians on stage, Which they have live band/Musicians every Saturday 6 to 8 PM from Memorial day thru Labor day. Admission is donation presently. Bring your coat & chair & enjoy. We had a wonderful time.

The inhumane treatment of the betta fish in the cafe would keep me from going back. Betta fish need at minimum 5 gallons and a heater (they are tropical fish) A half litre of water and some and plastic plants are not suitable. It just made me sad. Please do a little research before you buy ANY pet.
Other than that, the coffee was good and the bagel with cream cheese really hit the spot.

Cool atmosphere, tasty treats. A coffee shop in the middle of a motel. Obviously used as a work space for guests, but they offer different rooms and sitting/working spaces for whatever you need. There’s even a sound proof room for those conference calls (ahem loud guy on the phone, use it!).

This place was disappointing small dishes and low quality food, all is served in disposable compostable bags/cups but no compost trash. Very slow service but the person who takes orders is the same as the motel receptionist so they were really doing their best. It is clean and mostly please to sit and there are some board games as well

Woman barista with short blond hair was super weird. We stopped there for the day and asked a few questions about the building because we loved it. She was talking about us in a mocking way after to the other barista which is super weird. We were in earshot and asked her to stop, and she lied and said she wasn’t.

Wanted to love this place but just couldn’t because of the coffee. Barista admitted they were new so I was as flexible as possible but the first coffee was chunky with white chocolate powder and had 2 ice cubes. They remade it for me and the shots were so bitter I couldn’t drink it. Two of my friends got different drinks and they were also equally bad. The food also took a very long time, the person admitted they left to buy ingredients to our order- so imagine the wait time for that. Just disappointed all around.

We stopped in for breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed quick service, good food, and fun atmosphere / design. Appreciate the vegan sausage option on the breakfast sandwiches and good prices for quality food and coffee drinks. Highly recommend.
