With a waterfront setting as nice as this, you’ll feel like every day’s a vacation day.
Come on down and dip your toes in the sand, or in the water if you’re game.
The Sandbox offers a wide variety of first-come, first-serve seating options. These options include Adirondack chairs near the stage, picnic tables in the sand, and beach chairs around the fire pits. It’s not uncommon for these seats to fill up with patrons, so anyone thinking of bringing a group is encouraged to reserve a cabana – the only section of the beach that is available for reservations.
Live music and food trucks are available daily and constantly rotating – be sure to check the website for the latest schedule!

Lived in New Jersey most of my life and when I visit in the summers it was my first time coming here for my Aunts birthday in August and wow it was such a cool spot! Had a few food trucks with yummy food, great live music and great drinks. Had a blast with a huge group of people. We got there early and was able to find a great spot! Will definitely go back when I visit.

Sandbox at SeaStreak is a fun summer spot. The ferry from Manhattan’s East 35th Street takes about 50 minutes, with a stop at Sandy Hook before reaching Highlands. Round‑trip tickets were about $50 per person, and if you take the ferry they waive the entry fee at the Sandbox. There are plenty of food trucks at the entrance, and once inside you’ll find a bar, live music, and lots of space to eat, sit, and relax.

Best trip. Didn’t do the bar inside. But the views were outstanding. Only thing did not like was sitting on top only had some seats and the rest of everyone just stood around. They stand in front of you that you can’t see the sights. Had a guy in front of me not a care in the world.

We had a great time hanging out in the adirondak chairs, having a few drinks and listening to bands. The smash burgers from the food truck were delicious!! Not the best bathroom situation, but not the worst.

The best place to see live music at the Jersey Shore during the summer months. Gorgeous sunsets and water views. Sometimes wait in line for food that can be a little pricey, but for the convenience, it is totally worth it. You can bring your own chairs. Check out my YouTube for videos of local musicians that play here! Oh, and they have a SUPER DUPER photographer on staff 🙂

Unbelievable venue with great entertainment Has a Bar and a bunch of food truck options . Different nights Different trucks. When we visited Hog Heaven was open. The truck had great food at a reasonable price. My favorite was the grilled cheese stuffed with Buffalo chicken. The atmosphere is great !!! Its a beach party ready for your group. Table with umbrella’s and comfortable chairs theater style. My over all impressions were very high.
I love this place and will be back over the summer a few times. And the entertainment was top shelf. Tuesday until 9pm . Had a great time with the wife. Many pics to follow

Came here for a girls’ beach day, and it was a great experience! To start the journey over is pleasant and offers views that people pay to get on yachts for. Once there, they offer plenty of chairs that you can position however you need to, and theres a surplus to accommodate any group size. The beach itself is pretty, and the water is surprisingly clear, we even saw fish and a horse shoe crab! Theres so much available seating with an army of picnic tables and chairs, and they also have a couple food trucks and a good bar
Drawbacks [but not deal breakers]:
Please add a beach umbrella rental option! The sun was COOKING lol The food at the trucks arent really vegan friendly, so if you’re a veggie person, make sure to bring your own or come well fed! However, the fries were DELISH. The beach itself isnt the biggest but we found a good spot ☆
Overall, a wonderful and aesthetically pleasing experience, will be sure to visit in tbe future ✨️
