The SandBar provides a superb combination of atmosphere, impeccable service, and the best food and drinks in Central Nebraska. Our staff puts on display our menu that is mostly Americana, but with some creative twists and turns. Spring and summer months provide Sand Volleyball leagues as well as outdoor seating options with spectacular views of the South Loup river. Dart leagues as well as special menu offerings are also featured.

This place was awesome!!! The owner was our server to start because it was a slow time. We were a few minutes early to get the salad bar with our dinner purchase, but he said we could have it anyways which was awesome and he didn’t have to do. I got the Hot Beef with mash potatoes and gravy, and that was so freaking amazing!!! My wife got the meatloaf and ate the entire thing after a huge salad. Everyone was so nice and came to check on us. I recommend so highly if I could have done 6 stars I totally would! Tell them Jordan sent you and like my review if you want me to do more reviews.

“Popular with locals” says it all! The French dip sandwich was smothered in perfectly sauted onions. Joined friend for supper who eats lunch there nearly everyday- he had the bacon-wrapped smoked meatloaf. Hometown atmosphere with friendly server who kept the glasses full. Full bar, daily specials, comfort food.

Always delicious food. We had a party there for my husband’s 50 th birthday. The Sand Bar was very accommodating. Tate smoked brisket and chicken legs as well as other delicious items for a buffet for our group. Quick service, friendly, and always accommodating. Many of our friends had not eaten there in several years. Everyone left full and happy. We will come again.

We always meet friends here for lunch or supper and are greeted by a happy server. The place is very clean and nice. The food is amazing. We’ve tried many different things and they’ve all been great. We’ve also gotten take out and it was ready quickly and hot and tasty just like eating in.

Recently I got the chance to work with Tate in throwing a (very) short notice surprise party for my husband. He was so helpful on helping me come up with food that was delicious and beyond reasonably priced. The space was perfect and we had more than enough room (ended up with around 50 people) and definitely could of added more to the party! My husband and I normally stop in to the Sand Bar a couple times a month and have always love the food! Definitely recommend for any occasion!!
