Stopped by whilst we were in the area for lunch. I wasn’t disappointed, it’s clean and friendly with a really good choice on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and so did my husband. Great food and a great price what more could you want? The owner Sam was really helpful with tips and suggestions if your unsure what to order. Give it a try I’m sure you’ll love it too.

Wow, just wow. We were pleasantly surprised by the meatballs (better than in New York per hubby), the choice of sandwiches with perfectly paired flavors, and the chickpea salad with homemade vinegarette. The kid’s grilled cheese on sourdough was “the cheesiest” and “awesome!” The fresh herbs make such an impact in the meatballs and salad. Perfection. Will be back within the month.

On our US bike tour traveling from England, the SamMithch shop was recommended to us as somewhere to eat in Spartanburg. It lived up to our expectations. Great service, location and excellent sandwich. I had the Sam, named after to guy that made it. If you’re in Spartanburg try it, you will not be disappointed.

Went here with my MIL and 3 daughters a few weeks ago and my kids REALLY loved their grilled cheese sandwiches and soup. I got “The Court” and it wasn’t the best sandwich I ever had but it wasn’t bad. The service was superior which besides pricing is the most important to me. The owners spoke with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, they even served us the food instead of just calling our names to come up and get it which I thought was pretty nice. 5/5 would recommend. ☺️

We stopped by whilst on a motorcycle trip in the area. What a great find. The staff were super friendly and they had an extensive choice of food. Was stuck for choice as I fancied quite a few. Settled on the Samuel. It was delicious. Prices were great. The only downside is that I don’t live closer. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Thanks

best grilled cheese “The Zach” and tomato soup I’ve ever had. the bread had the perfect crunch and the tomato bisque was flavorful. I’m not from here and am going to be sad I can’t come to this place more often!

Just paid $13 for all filler no thriller! Turkey, bacon, provolone, spinach. Obviously they have an over abundance of spinach! There’s barely one piece of turkey on this thing!! I have no idea how folks are rating this place so high! Honestly Ingles makes a better sandwich. And they’re soup is definitely store bought!

The best deli shop in Spartanburg. I’ve been looking for a non franchise sandwich shop and Sammwitch is a must try … 1000% better than the franchise deli shops… i also love that they’re open until 9 pm, in case you need a yummy sandwich at night. I needed something to recharge before finishing work tonight. Courtney was sooo nice and kind!!

My husband and I walked in at 8:30 (thirty minutes before closing) and received EXCELLENT service. I had The Mitch with spinach on a wrap and the broccoli salad. He had The Gus and the chickpea salad. I sampled his – everything was delicious! The chickpea salad was light and fabulous. The broccoli salad was good – and not mayonnaise-y, so big props. The Gus’ spicy Mayo was awesome and made the sandwich. The Mitch was a perfect light option on a hot, heavy night. We never felt rushed, the service was prompt, & we were very glad we tried it! The desserts were sold out, but maybe next time I’d have enjoyed some radish to spice up The Mitch and my husband would have liked banana peppers on The Gus, but not having these didn’t hurt the sandwiches.
