I will start out by saying I am a big ice cream fan. The service here was unfriendly and subpar. The ice cream was flat out bad. I threw it away after a couple bites. This was disappointing as I was really looking forward to it. I would not recommend stopping here.

The ice cream was good, not great. Red velvet had almost as much cake mixed into it as it had ice cream. Nice outdoor seating area right next to The Salty Dog Cafe and a few souvenir shops. There is a small playground for little ones right across from the Ice Cream Factory.

There is a clear signs you can have NO dogs on the patio or the cafe. -3 stars because we had to leave our golden retriever in the car when we got ice cream. Of course we cracked the windows down but why leave him in the car if we’re outside anyway?? There were not a whole lot of fun flavors to choose from. The chocolate was okay not my favorite. High price for just average ice cream dunked in hot fudge.

The ice cream is way better than the food! My wife and I got the cake batter ice cream. She got it with sprinkles and I got mine with hot fudge. Note: the cake batter already comes with sprinkles in it.
