Atmospher was awful: loud rap music and very cold room, not comfortable. My hamburger and fries took almost 50 minutes to receive after ordering. Polite and friendly service. The food is excellent: great taste and large portions. I would not return except for takeout.

On my trip through California, I stopped by for a drink and a short rest. It felt like a cozy neighborhood gathering place, and they even offered free popcorn.

Me my wife and daughter were very happy. Diana was very nice. I would definitely recommend going here to get food for your family or to stay for a beer if your adults only definitely relaxed friendly environment. Burgers and the chicken strips were delicious. Also, the fries are definitely good as well. Overall definitely a great experience the takeout food was fresh and amazing. Highly recommend coming here if you’re going to stay in the area

We are staying in town and went over to get some food. It was a Monday so they were the only restaurant open in town. Ordered a pizza and a beer. it took over an hour to get a single pizza. If you are coming down the coast breeze by this spot. The food itself seemed overpriced for what you get, the pizza was big but low quality.

We just left the salty dawg I never know what to expect when trying out someplace new to eat. The food so delicious, It’s a cute little bar, but it’s not just your average bar food. They have a really delicious food. I got a grilled chicken BLT The chicken was so flavorful so yummy and the bacon was just how I love it crispy and delicious. The onion rings are probably some of the best I’ve eaten so tasty. My husband said his burger was Super flavorful, sweet potato fries are amazing. The price is fantastic especially for the amount of food you receive . The bartender/waitress was very nice very hospitable. 100% recommend.

Best chicken wings and cheese curds I’ve had in Oregon! And the people (both staff and patrons) were so welcoming and friendly. You can tell it’s a neighborhood spot where the people really care about and take care of each other. We will definitely be back!

Great little “Dive Bar”, they say. I’m not sure if it’s a dive but a cool, local watering hole where the drinks are generous on the alcohol and everyone seems to be pretty friendly.

Had a delicious pizza; for sure the best place in town to get a pizza. Possibly the only place. I’m not sure if they deliver but they may have a delivery service like DoorDash, etc. Lots of other things on the menu and so far they all taste great.

The Salty Dawg is a local landmark for good reason. Great food and drinks with friends!

I dont know what a cook needs to do to make a person as sick as I am from eating some cheese curds and a burger, but my stomach is as loud as an angry t-rex, feels like one punching me from inside and I had to urgently run to have danger doodoo as well as feel like I want to puke. Too bad because a nice lady feom the KOA down the street recommended the burger as being outstanding. Now instead of nourishing my body with a good meal, I wasted my time and momey so I can spend my camping night running to the bathroom facilities. I NEVER get sick cooking at home and I’m not careful at all about any of the big cooties people talk about. You seriously have to be absolutely disgusting with a total lack of sanitation to do this to someone, or you have it out for them. Boo. The burger was sub par on a huge bun and the cheese curds tasted like they had an entire bottle of garlic powder in them. Im breathing fire in more ways than one.

edit: still sick the next day late afternoon. Horseradish from the cheese curd marinara is obvious. Be warned.
