Long overdue review. We have been coming here on and off since it changed from The Genuine.

The chef turns out creative, thoughtful dishes with a farm to table focus. The wine list is small but well curated. We enjoyed a bottle of Cabernet Franc from Hermann J. Wiemer in the Finger Lakes, showing bright red fruit, subtle herbal notes, and lively acidity that paired beautifully with the food.

We started with the Fried Frog Legs, crisp outside and tender inside, served with a sweet Thai chili sauce, delicious. My wife’s Hungarian Pork Goulash was rich and comforting with tender pork and well seasoned broth. I had the 10 ounce New York Strip with rosemary garlic compound butter, cooked and trimmed perfectly and served with the sides I selected: potato bacon puree and roasted rainbow carrots.

The patio can be a bit loud from the road, but they soften it with planters, and when there is live music you almost forget about the traffic. Service is consistently good, and there is truly nothing else like it in town. We will be back.

Raven was our server, she was exceptional! She was knowledgeable, professional, yet warm and kind. She had a great attitude and made our experience far better than anticipated.
The Salted Goat has so much to offer.
The food I had was refreshing and delicious. The meat was tender and the spread was fresh and delightful.
The Lemon Lavender crem brulee was scrumptious. My friend said her burger was the best she had tried in a while and that it was tasty. She was very pleased.
I was very satisfied with this establishment and I will be back for dinner to try the Salmon.

We’ve been here a couple of times. On our first visit, the food was not very good at all and the service was terrible, not to mention slow. However, during our second trip, the food we had was better and so was the service. It’s a lot of money for what it is. Not all of the flavors gel well together, depending on the dish you get. Having said that, the brisket burger, meatloaf, and charcuterie board are among their better dishes and worth trying.

What a cool little place to have brunch and cocktails. We had a perfect spicy Bloody Mary at the bar and then we sat down for brunch. Food was delicious, staff was really friendly and food came out perfect. I love the goat decor across the restaurant. We will definitely come back.

I visited twice before writing a review. Omgosh. Scratch kitchen didn’t begin to describe the incredible craftsmanship over food! I love that this incredible restaurant is 10 minutes from home. Everything was delicious!

Food and service was great. We got the chicken and waffles – the chicken was cooked so well and crispy. Pretty sweet with the syrup which is how I like it. Also got the papa rellena which came with a green chili cheese sauce. It was very delicious. It took a traditional Peruvian food and added an American breakfast flare. Would go back

Food was good at salted goat this weekend, but it did take a very long time to come out for the level of business in the restaurant. About 45 minutes. Everything was very tasty though I will say, especially the huevos papas rellenas! They had a few special items for the day. Bloody Mary was okay, it did taste like a bottled mix which is fine I just think I needed a little something additional. Mimosas pretty cheap, $5 and bloody was $6!

I tend to forget to take photos as soon as the food is brought to the table and that’s what happened again last week when we went to The Salted Goat. I had been wanting to try this restaurant after seeing posts on Facebook about its farm-to-table menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. The portions were great and value was phenomenal. They had amazing happy hour deals.

Pictured: the Rueben sandwich with black beans as the side. Soup of the day : pumpkin corn chowder. The bottleneck clams appetizer and the kids chicken nuggets with fries.

Had one of the best meals of my life. The drunken pig pasta was an explosion of flavor and felt like every item in the dish was there on purpose. Crisp red onions and garlic is a pesto served with bread I swiped every last bit of that heavenly sauce up! My husband said his sampj BLT was the best salmon he’s ever had. Amazing experience, everything was so fresh, and well priced. I wish we lived closer!

I forgot to take photos of the food but it was delicious. I got the salmon B.L.T and my fiancé got the Nashville hot chicken and waffles. They gave a big piece of salmon and the fries weren’t oversalted. I also got a Samoa martini, which was just the right amount of sweet! The staff were very friendly. The service was quick but didn’t feel rushed. I would love to stop in again the next time I’m passing through!
