Randomly stopped by with a group of friends and noticed they had a special going on for a shot and a beer for $10.
I heard other patrons ask if the kitchen was open, and it was but I personally didn’t try any of their food selection.
The bartender was a great guy and was quite prompt with our orders. The place itself was a nice spot to relax and enjoy a drink. Although it wasn’t too busy when we walked in, i noticed many folks sipping on their drinks while working on their laptops! Maybe they had Wi-Fi but I didn’t ask or check. If you want a chill spot with good drinks that won’t break the bank, this is the place to be!

I absolutely LOVED this place. I forgot what it’s called (lol), but I had a drink with bourbon and cherry, and it was seriously so good. They had awesome vegan and vegetarian options too! I will definitely come back with my friends!

My FAV place in Ventura for drinks and good vibes. Super chill, excellent cocktails and awesome food. My all time fav is Think Beautiful Thoughts mezcal cocktail, Fried Chi’n Vegan bao and fries. It’s my go to order with lots of left overs to enjoy all over again tomorrow. Plus I love that my dog is welcome too.

My girlfriend our friends and I stayed in Ventura March 2024 for spring break.
I know this review is WAY overdue, but I just wanted to write this to say that we all have been trying to find a margarita that can top the one that was made for us here. We’ve been all over the place since then, and I can say with full confidence that over a year later, nothing has topped the margarita that we had when we stopped into The Saloon.
We will 100% be back one day, and not just for the margarita, but everything else. The staff and food were also fantastic! Thank you guys for the great memories when we stopped by!

I love this place. Great atmosphere. Great service. I prefer going before it gets too busy later in the night. Julia, Alfie, and Sam are my favorite bartenders! They are always so nice and helpful. I ordered a new drink that I really like, and Alfie knew how to make it immediately (a New York Sour). He puts his heart into his craft I can tell. Thank you to the whole team here and for the awesome experiences. ❤️

Loved the atmosphere and was very happy with everything we ordered. We sampled some of the cocktails and were very impressed with the original flavors of them and how potent they were. Food was delicious and a decent serving. We all really loved our meals and will definitely be back

All Australians in Ventura go here. Very cool place with Vegan options and good old Avocado on toast. The Vegan Fried Chicken Bao is the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. Loved it.

Food was overcooked, lacked flavor for some which compounded the overdone meat, Texas toast was a dissapointment, really noisy to the point we just wanted to eat and run. As a bar the place doesn’t seem bad with a large selection of whiskey, but I would not come back for the food.
