Made a quick visit on a slow night to the S.O.S Tiiki bar. One of the few Tiki establishments in Atlanta.
Here’s what I had:
Poor Unfortunate Soul – This drink taste more tropical than tiki. Tequila, Creme de cassis, ginger, cane syrup, and lime juice. Delicious and not too aggressive
Pokai Bay – Gin and the white wine make this cocktail feel important while the caramelized pineapple gives it that beach vibe we’re all looking for.
A-TI’-L Punch – When ever I get a stirred drink that has a citrus element to it I’m always excited. A few different white rums, peach, lemon and bitters mixed together into an interesting drink. I think it could be improved but it has its merits.

We went on a very busy day so we had to stand in a line to order at the standing bar which took about 30 minutes. I ordered the Misfit Toys and it was very delicious. The bartenders were very friendly even though they were busy and didn’t rush us to make a decision once we got to the front to see the drink menu. After we got our drinks it wasn’t hard finding somewhere to sit inside but it was more about convenient timing than having enough space for everyone in there.

I mean, I am a tiki bar connoisseur yes I admit it. I grew up with some of the best tiki bars in the nation in Portland, Oregon. I lived in New York for 25 years and I’ve traveled in 22 countries and I tend to go to Tiki bars wherever I go I know that sounds dorky, but it’s true. We randomly googled tiki bar not knowing there was actually one there and decided to go. It was Thursday night nothing crazier packed, but it had a nice solid crowd. Great festive vibe fantastic music that was loud enough to enjoy but you could still talk over the waitress was lovelyand it was just perfect. The drinks were absolutely amazing. We did hear some of the menu was gonna change which was perfect already so I hope it doesn’t change too much. Fabulous.

Great place to have drinks and the ambiance is amazing. Inside seating is extremely limited and it does get really busy with long wait times but the drinks have always been fantastic. Food options are pretty much non existent so eat before you go.

Literally the greatest service and amazing drinks!!!! Thank you so much for accommodating our large group. We had a group of 10 people and we enjoyed the patio. Thank you!!! No wait on this fine Thursday evening. We arrived before opening to get a table. You do have a 90 minute table time, so be mindful of that for other guests. All of our waiters/ hosts were awesome

Christmas Edition – be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour. Was it worth it? It was fun. It’s nice to do something themed. The Tiki drinks were darling but gave me a headache. Not very vegetarian friendly. The staff was stressed out and ready to see you go after your one hour limit. We went to Jekyll Brewing Co. in Alpharetta yesterday and it was all decked out for the holidays and excellent. No wait. Take that example into consideration.
