Tonight, we ventured to The Rustler at the Mills & it was wonderful – from when we walked in to when we left.
We were greeted and sat promptly, all of the staff was amazing – they made us feel welcome and grateful we were there.
We both chose the ribeye with a baked potato. The steak was cooked to perfection, full of flavor & ever so juicy! The salad bar was well stocked and presented flawlessly. Our drinks never got to the halfway point as the staff made sure they stayed full.
The Rustler runs like a well oiled machine as if they’ve been there for years – when it’s only been months. I hope they’re there for years to come. Afterwards, we took a walk of the grounds and it was dressed for Christmas.

This steak place is simple and straight forward. Ribeye or filet mignon. Salad bar is perfect for the size of the place. It has a southern hospitality atmosphere. I recommend the 12oz ribeye. Do yourself a favor and order rare to medium. The place is a hidden gem but it does get crowded on Friday and Saturday night. I suggest an early dinner. The service is excellent and the music is set to a nice soft level. Check it out and bring an appetite!

Had lunch on a Saturday, but wasn’t told until after we ordered drinks that they only had burger w/ fries ($18 plus $2 if you also wanted a salad bar) or salad bar for lunch options. Wish they’d told us that at check in or prior to ordering drinks. The food was delicious, however.

Such an amazing experience! The most tender steak you will ever have, the freshest salad bar, the best drinks, and especially the best service! Travis, Josh, and Patrick always make you feel like family! The restaurant is so beautiful at night and the porch makes you feel like you are at home! Highly recommend!

Our first experience at The Rustler was 5 stars! We went on a Saturday night, so the wait was about an hour, which we expected. We were able to wait at Bright Penny Brewing and it made the time fly by! The food was incredible. Perfectly cooked usda prime steak, salad bar is top notch and the service was excellent. We can’t wait to go back and visit The Rustler again soon!

If you have the time, or even if you have to make the time, stop by this AMAZING steakhouse. The steak could’ve been cut with a spoon I think. Limited menu makes everything they serve great. The staff was so friendly and amazing. Great drinks and cold beer. We will definitely be back soon and for many years to come.

So good. Steak cooked perfect for both the ribeye and filet. They turned the porch heaters on for us since we came in February with our little dog. So kind and will definitely come back and recommend.
