Best restaurant in the area…and there aren’t many so I’m very thankful they are here! I’ve never had a bad meal here. Love their fish & chips. Everything is fresh and the service is great!

I’m glad I read the Google reviews and tried this place! The food was great and Jen, our waitress was knowledgeable about all the meno items and specials. I tried the Short Ribs and Mushroom ravioli and it was great and the sauce was full of mushrooms. My kids had a burger and the meatball grinder and both looked great. If you’re in town, definitely try this place.

5 stars across the board!!! My wife and I stopped in after a day of foliage and covered bridge sightseeing. Glad we did, the food was excellent as well as the service. Would definitely return. If your in the area stop in.. The prices were reasonable as well.

I was actually not aware of this place until an out of town friend suggested we meet here for supper, it was a great choice! I loved it so much I told my folks about it, they seemed happy enough in the moment, both times I was very happy with the food. The first time we split appetizers, I was definitely too full for a meal after the mozzarella sticks. The second time, when I brought my folks, they had nothing but positives, then they went to Maine and he felt that he could have gotten a few more clams for the cost of what he paid (but he said he didn’t leave here hungry). Take what I relay with a grain of salt, I am just telling my experiences, it’s good enough for me to want to bring more people here!

I had the beef braised short ribs with mushroom raviolis. My husband had the New York strip with french fries and carrots and peas. The beef bread short ribs were delicious. No knife needed, tear apart tender and deliciously seasoned and flavored. However, my husband did not enjoy his steak, the flavor was off. I tasted it and it came out medium instead of medium rare. The peas and carrots were also undercooked. Our waitress was very friendly and nice and I appreciate it, her service and the way she dealt with my grumpy husband lol. If you’re a mushroom lover you have got to try this dish that I had, I also tried the clam chowder which was good and fresh. You can taste the butter in it too which I liked. Almost forgot to mention the crab cakes. What makes the crab cakes so delicious? Is there homemade Chipotle mayo, it was to die for all of this so much with the crab cakes.

This is a great hidden gem. We were able to get a late lunch on a Saturday with no wait. The staff here were very friendly and professional. I enjoyed all the good food. I really enjoyed the signature drink the “Rusty Bucket”. The interior is quite appropriate with the term rustic. There was plenty of parking outside. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

Love it here ! I always get the stuffed haddock which is to die for. My hubby had the fried chicken, fresh veggies and fried. Our only complaint is that the water left over from the vegetables was on the bottom of the plate, making the fried chicken soggy. We also find all of the food needs to have a little seasoning. But overall we love it and our waitress, Jen, was great.

We stopped on a whim, they fit us in, we are so glad they found seats for us. Everything was fabulous: food, drink, staff. Prime Rib, Fish & Chips, Rum bucket highly recommend.

We showed up without a reservation on a Friday night. Didn’t know we would need one. Not from the area and had to make a concert in Keene. Jean was amazing, squeezing us in withe a friendly group to share the end of a big table. Food was great. Definitely will go back if we are in the area.
