Wow, just wow! Took my two kiddos for the first time this week and it was amazing! We had the chocolate croissant, chocolate chip cookie and baklava. Every one of those pastries was to die for. I bake regularly at home and it is very rare when I find sweets that are better than mine. The shop is also so cute, comfy and has great books if you ever want to have a moment to yourself. Definitely recommend it!

I love how friendly Leigha and Karen are . They made my experience seamless. All of the baked goods from the Rustic Nook Bakery are fresh and made from scratch right there in their shop. Its refreshing to have a good quality product with no preservatives. And their buttercream…..so light and fluffy and the perfect amount of sweetness. Highly recommend. Love their honestly and ease.

I bought a little cake for my mom’s 60th birthday. It was supposed to be owl themed, with roses and butterflies. The cake turned out really cute, but they added some other type of flower, not roses. But overall I liked how the cake looked. But then we tried the cake and it was absolutely disgusting. Everyone at the party told me that I would of been better off buying a cake from the grocery store and they’re right. The cake consistency was almost cardboard like, and the taste of it was so gross. Some of the guests liked it though! I don’t like leaving bad reviews, this wasn’t a total waste. The customer service is okay. Will not be returning but I wish this cute lil bakery the best.

A new bakery opening in Rapid is always exciting! I recently visited Rustic Nook Bakery, and while there’s clear potential, my first experience had room for improvement. The staff seemed a bit disorganized, with three employees crowded around the register — one handling drinks, another taking orders behind the pastry case, and the third at the register. It gave off a chaotic vibe that could be smoothed out with better communication. They could definitely benefit from having a small counter behind them so that they can prepare the pastries taken from the shelf instead of being almost on top of eachother when putting the pastries in the container.
I purchased four pastries for a reasonable $12. The taste was hit or miss. The croissant was small and tasted average, while the larger chocolate croissant had a pleasant flavor despite tasting like it used Hershey’s chocolate inside. The Oreo blondie was dry and overly sweet, but the raspberry shortbread was a standout — perfectly flavored and worth coming back for.
The bakery shows promise, but a few changes could elevate the experience: clearer menus, labeled pastries, and improved teamwork among the staff. I’m optimistic about their future and look forward to returning to try their cakes and other offerings!

My friend ordered an anniversary cake from this bakery. It was the most dry and freezer burnt cake she’s ever tasted. She asked for a refund and she didn’t receive one for weeks up until she had to take further legal action and they then gave her a refund at last minute. Never again.
