After seeing how well the public reacted to the public she had her grand opening November 22 ,2019 . Lauri retired from Freeport after 33 years and decided to follow her dreams in opening her very own business that she was passionate about .

I ordered a cookie platter and cinnamon rolls to be delivered to my parents for Christmas. They were delivered to the wrong house and were supposed to be sent again after the New Year. I repeated the address several times. They never received anything. I paid for these baked goods plus left a tip. I was never refunded either. I had called and ordered delivery previously several times with no problem. Not sure what happened this time but I will not be doing it again. Very disappointed!!

My fiance and I went to this bakery for the first time today and it is amazing. It looks like a sweet cottage as you walk up to the building. When you go inside you have the smell of wood and the carvings are beautiful. After all that there are yummy treats on a the shelves. We tried the Apple Pie and it was delicious. I have baked pies my whole life, using my grandma’s recipie. I’ve never bought a pie that tasted as good as mine. I’ve never had crust as flaky as mine, until now. Not only was the peach and apple pie as good as mine, it was even better! Honestly, I’m not sure how I feel about it lol, especially when it’s an 9 hour drive each way to get another one!

The exterior is lovely, and so is the interior. Lovely rough wood shelves and decorations, and professionally wrapped and arranged bakery items. We bought a $15 blueberry pie, which looked amazing and tasted fabulous. The owner is very personable and open. Expect to pay more than the grocery store, but get products that are appropriate for very special occasions.
