You can tell the place was content and comfortable with mid. Meat was flavorless with 0 seasoning and burnt ends tasted like dog food that was sitting in a ziplock bag for days. It’s okay to add some seasoning to your meats, not everyone in Kansas is dying of high blood pressure. The fries were phenomenal

First spot I tried when I touched down in Kansas, was not disappointed!! The staff recommended I try their famous burnt ends and phewwww e they did not disappoint ! The sauce options here are amazing and I made sure not to leave a drop ! Will certainly be retuning next time I’m in town.

Beef Tips (Brisket point): 8/10. Good seasoning, but a little dry… I prefer that Texas Brisket point over Kanas tips.

Ordered take out to feed 8 for Xmas eve. Everything was delicious. There BBQ beans are transcendent. Their crew are always super friendly and fun. Ribs, sausage, creamy corn, and of course their beans; all the best I’ve had in town. They are my only go-to for BBQ.

A regular stop when in the Garmin Complex area. I have been visiting this place since 2020 and the food has been consistently good. I had the loaded baked potato on a lunch special day and have not tried anything else, it’s s my go to meal here. Topped with burnt ends and the spicy house bbq sauce, it’s delightful.

The service was really good and the staff were very helpful. Being from Texas makes it feel like I am slightly partial to Texas-style BBQ. (I understand the difference between KC and Texas BBQ) The burnt ends were mostly dry and the brisket was very thinly sliced and again mostly dry. The overall price for everything was actually really good.

Happened across Rub Bar-B-Q as a quick stop on our way to the airport. This place is fantastic! I had the Hillbilly Bowl and loved it. I’ll be visiting Rub the next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!
