The food and service is always excellent at this restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The early bird menu is good value and offered every day, with an extensive full menu. Vegan and coeliac members of my family always find plenty to choose from on the full menu. This is our go-to Indian restaurant in Derby for dining and takeaways.

Love this restaurant in the centre of Park Farm Shopping Centre, really delicious food cooked to perfection, great vegetarian options as well, the mushroom Korma was mouth-watering! They also do takeaways.
Free car parking in park farm shopping centre, though time restricted to 2 hours I think, but check first, as I walked there so didn’t use it.

Haven’t used RoyalRaj after a very watery takeaway. Heard some had had good experiences, so tried again. Ordered at 18.20 and delivery came up at 19.25. Fine, no problem. Comes 19.50 and no food. Rang and told it would be out shortly. 20.10 and a staff member, not a typical delivery arrived with the food and a bottle of Cobra to say sorry. The food? Not improved. Won’t be going back.

We booked for a curry Christmas day , two of us , the service is good and polite , but the main meals were over seasoned with way too much salt , unfortunate, otherwise nice place , shame really , I wanted to book next year, but this has put me off .
