Our 1st experience here was amazing. Our server Tori was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality was simply delicious. I had the prime rib special while. My husband had the Roxy Cut tenderloin which was cooked perfectly (and he’s picky). The chefs was Jason so kudos to you and your team.

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast and boy am I glad I did! From entering you are greeted by smiling, happy people ready to seat you even without reservation. There were so many choices for breakfast items, but ultimately I decided on the build your own skillet with bacon, italian sausage, spinach, and pepper jack cheese over a bed on potatoe fried dumplings. My girlfriend got the 3 biscuits and gravy. Let me start with saying that we GREATLY underestimated the portion sizes, the skillet was phenomenal with amazing taste with every bite. The biscuits and gravy tasted amazing as well with amazing sausage gravy taste with every bite. As far as service goes, our waitress Shannon was very attentive and very enthusiastic, even with the busy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and try the dinner next time im in town. For everyone else wondering if this is worth a try, It’s definitely worth it!

My fiance and I tried this place this evening. We were seated right away which is a plus. We were brought water in a cup which tasted like literal battery acid, unfortunately they don’t sell bottled water. My fiance asked for an old fashioned with an orange peel. There was no orange peel. I have no idea why this was voted the best old fashioned in Winnebago county when they don’t even give you what you asked for. We only got appetizers because we wanted a snack as we were on a long walk. We got shrimp cocktail which is incredibly hard to mess up although I am disappointed we only got 5 medium sized shrimp. We also got the Roxy platter. The only thing decent was the ribs (they were falling off the bone and the sauce was good so I will give credit where it’s due). The onion strings were flavorless and the breaded tenderloin was so well done, it was like it was well done ten minutes before they decided to stop cooking. The bacon wrapped shrimp tasted like they had salt NEXT to the dish. Everything was lacking flavor.
Our waitress was lovely. However, unless I’m with my grandparents and they force me to go, I will never go back. This was laughably bad.

#16 on our 2025 old-fashioned tour…we had a blast sitting at the bar. The bartenders (Dennis and Gene) were super funny. You can tell there are a lot of regulars that visit this place…very friendly atmosphere. The drinks were great. I also tried a bloody mary (which is not normal for me). Best bloody I’ve had. Matt ordered a seafood platter with perch, haddock, scallops, and jumbo shrimp. I had the chicken Oscar and chicken dumpling soup. Everything was so good. We will be back.

This place……. It’s been a staple of Oshkosh for decades. I can’t understand why. Has the bar been set that low all these years? Tonight, dirty silverware, crap service, crap food. Oh, and the sound of renovations in the next room. I didn’t bother to complain. Paid the bill, move on. Leave this to the 60 and over crowd. ✌️

Stopped in during Saturday lunch, just before dinner starts. Bar was completely full of patrons. Plenty of tables available but they were mindful of upcoming reservations when checking in at the host station.
Misty was our server and she was pleasant, attentive, and accommodating! I opted for the lunch Tenderloin Oscar (butterflied), but wanted all the “Oscar” components on the side. Weird I know, but it was not made out to be a big deal. Husband got the lunch Prime Rib.
Food was expedient, tasty, and quite affordable. We both also had a cocktail and our entire bill was under $60!
My husband commented on the fact I cleaned my plate without any help. He couldn’t remember the last time that occurred. Perfect portioned lunches and delicious enough that I couldnt stop. We left very satisfied, no leftovers, and not stuffed to the gills.
We will be back when we are in the area!

I can not believe it is another year and spending it every year at thanksgiving with all of you guys again. Food service was excellent as it always is here Thank you very much for the memories!! I hope you all were able to spend time with your families toooo. Thank you for all your hard work you are each very much appreciated. God Bless!!! Our waitress was very kind and patient. Cashier gal very kind and fun Parking was zero problem considering it was Thanksgiving day. Ton of parking in main Street and also found somebody leaving in back.
