I always love visiting Abbeville’s Historic Square. Such a Beautiful Olde Town area. Rough House also is a Historic part of the square. I drop by for some of the best hot dogs this side of the East Coast. Southern friendly people with Service and a down home smile. No Yankee attitude here. With so many of our Businesses being bought out by Transplant Yankees this is one still Southern.

Nice place to grab a quick snack. The “All The Way” hot dogs hit the spot. Great tasting hot dog with mustard, onion, and chili. Soft warm buns too. The potato salad was excellent too. Next time we’ll dine in so we can sample the ice cream.

I found a convenient place for a quick bite and opted for the lunch special that came with a drink, chips of my choice, and two hotdogs with chili, mustard, and onions. It cost me just under $10.
The food was hot and decent, but there was nothing particularly remarkable or unique about it. However, the atmosphere was comfortable enough to sit and enjoy my meal.
Overall, my experience was great, although the young lady at the front seemed to have a staring problem. I’m not sure if she enjoyed the way I chewed my food. Despite that, I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick, convenient, and hot meal!

So I grew up in Anderson. These are the closest thing I’ve had to Skins’ hot dogs, ever. I bet if you put the two together on the same plate, I wouldn’t know the difference. Not sure I could taste a difference either. Simply delicious. Well done. If I’m ever back in Abbeville, I plan to stop in again.
