A family friendly classic! We love coming every summer. The root beer is the main attraction! The newer large indoor seating area is great. We love all the options out back with the shade, playground, and occasional train traffic!

It is always a hard place for seating a party of 4. Or I just come at peak times. Sometimes the indoor dining is standing room only. Luckily they have outside seating. Regardless, the food is worth the wait. They have the best cheese coney in the area. Root Beer is the finest!!! You have to stop by and enjoy!!!

This place was so good. I wanted to stop at a locals stop. The chili cheese dogs were so good. The root beer was also awesome. The only regret was I was hoping for onion rings. I would definitely recommend.

Food is great, service is great, atmosphere is usually great. I went on a rainy, cold day. Ate “inside”. It was absolutely freezing. No space heaters on, so very cold. I guess on cold days, just do carry out and eat in your car.
2 Foot long chili cheese coneys, little popcorn, root beer and root beer float was fabulous but kind of expensive. $40 with tip. Recommend just getting a gallon of root beer instead of buying two separate drinks.

Atmosphere and ambiance reign superior in this throwback diner. The root beer float was very good! None of us liked the chili dog. It tasted like spaghetti sauce – NOT chili or Cincinnati style chili. Not a fan whatsoever!
SOO glad they don’t do crinkle cut fries. Their fries are pretty good actually. I’d get them again.
The best thing we had was the double bacon cheeseburger; very good for $6 ish
The frozen treats are pretty good too, but the cookie dough blizzie tasted fruity / banana esque. Pretty off putting for a cookie dough ice cream.
Bees – lots of them, but they’re trying to keep them at bay. It’s not really working and we were overrun.
Would I go back? Certainly, but only for the cheeseburger and root beer float.

That’s the spot 🙂 very good, long line but it moves fast. Not really a lot of indoor seating, but the “turn over rate” is so fast. We found a place to sit. There is also outdoor seating and a play set for the kids out back. Very good, a sweet Chilli. We also tried the flavor burst ice cream. Very good as well, we got cotton candy.

Stopped here on our way to Columbus after a weekend in Cincinnati and it’s so worth the stop! Such a neat place with plenty of outdoor seating if you don’t want to make a mess in your car. Employees are friendly and helpful and our order came out super fast.
We ordered root beer and red cream soda floats that were delicious. I had a YOLO moment and ordered the Timmy Dog that I wasn’t too fond of but that’s more of my fault for ordering something with ingredients I knew I wouldn’t like.

It was my first visit and I was very pleased. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I tried the root beer, of course, and it was fantastic. I also tried a chili cheese dog-it was great. This is a great place. It’s nice to see a place like this still doing so well amongst all the chain restaurants. I’ll definitely visit again.
