From a bygone era. I haven’t been here in years. The footlong with chili was tasty. Very crowded on a beautiful Saturday afternoon but line moved fast and order didn’t take long. There are picnic benches and a little play area behind the stand including cornhole. If you have any money left over they have merch.

Good old fashion Root Beer, by the gallon jug if you want to take extra home. Food was ok, I had a foot long w/ chili and cheese. The better half had a BBQ sandwich it was rather greasy.

Coney dog was OK fries were much too small and just frozen ones.. people raved about this place but I thought it was just okay. Honestly I feel like you could make better coney dogs and fries at home.. service was excellent but the best part of all was the root beer it was delicious got a gallon to go.

Took my aunt and uncle for the first time, they were delighted with the old time root beer stand! They loved the root beer, I love the orange soda. The atmosphere is great! We had an awesome time and our server was great. Love the post COVID renovations!

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Cincinnati for almost 7 years now and have never been to The Root Beer Stand! Made the trek over to try it for the first time today on their last day of the season. I ordered a footlong chili/cheese coney, a bag of chips, and a root beer float. Total was a little over $11. I’ve never been a huge fan of coneys but decided to give theirs a try and really enjoyed it! It’s messy though so make sure you have napkins handy. The root beer float was super yummy too. I’m wishing I would have ordered some of the root beer to take home.

Stopped here on our way to Columbus after a weekend in Cincinnati and it’s so worth the stop! Such a neat place with plenty of outdoor seating if you don’t want to make a mess in your car. Employees are friendly and helpful and our order came out super fast.

Coming here is always a joy. The people are friendly and the food is great. My wife and I always get a root beer float to split. The best chili dog and chili cheese fries in town. We love the atmosphere and sitting outside but sometimes there can be bees which are annoying.

This was the perfect afternoon refreshment. The root beer float was absolutely scrumptious. Not only that, but the quick service was greatly appreciated. Our attentive waitress kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu was so easy to read, too, which made ordering our dessert a breeze. The smiles from the staff created such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. I am definitely coming back to this place again!
