A new favorite diner!! My daughter and I went to Rooster Diner after seeing a production at Media Theater. Sorry I forgot to take pictures. Let’s start with Milo, the waiter. A very nice, hospitable, ultra attentive young man. I swear he needs to train all waitstaff who hates their job. He checked in on us often, refilled drinks and asked if we needed anything with a sincere smile. He invited us to come back again, “I think we will Milo, Thanks for the invite.” Ok now the food…the menu has a lot of options that would please anyone’s tastebuds. I got a buffalo chicken panini with fries, which was very big and tasty. I do have a half left so I will take a pic. My daughter got potato skins with bacon. I think there were six fully loaded halves. She loved them. The other staff were polite and the customers seem to be regulars and they were friendly and chatty. It was a good end to a fun evening.

On first impression, the menu is basic. Nothing terribly creative, and it’s pretty pricey for what is offered.
Another Google review talked about Scrapple Fries, and we were excited to try those. For 6.99, they didn’t seem worth it. It was 1 thick slice of scrapple cut into strips and deep fried – it came with what tasted like a thick salad dressing, which didn’t really match the flavors well.
The eggs Benedict with extra crispy hashbrowns and Waffle combo with eggs over easy came out PERFECT . I can honestly say I’ve never been served more perfectly cooked eggs, and my hash browns were actually crispy on both sides without being burnt.
The service was ok. Once our food was delivered, our server didn’t come by til we were just about finished, so our water went unrefilled for most of our meal and we had to stop the busser for hot sauce.
It is loud like a train station in there. I know it’s a busy dinner, but there is nothing to help dampen the sound. It echos everywhere, and I struggled to hear my husband at my table. There were quite a few cameras installed for a diner, they even had a sign posted at the front alerting to the cameras with audio surveillance. I didn’t realize that area was that high in crime to be that concerned.

This is one of the hidden places that you would miss if you didn’t pay attention.
Definitely try the egg Benedict, they have few of them and it was delicious breakfast.
For a second visit, I had Ruben and it was as good as it gets. fresh, delicious, on a real Jewish rye bread.

I went twice, for an early morning breakfast. The food wasnt knocking any socks off, but it was what you want from a diner. Cooked how I asked, everything scrumptious. Staff was great, attentive and easy going, kept my coffee topped off and let me be. Prices where very good relative to most places these days. As I went early, they where pretty empty. So atomosphere is hard for me to rate, but again, legit is a diner, not a hipster spot that serves brunch in the afternoon.

Never been here and always wanted to go since they opened. Great location, getting out to head to west Chester may be a little tricky, but I digress. Madison was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful and accommodating to myself and my friend who is a Veteran. He had an omelet and I had two eggs with the scrapple fries ( soooo amazing!) and hash browns and toast. I was torn because everything on the menu looks good and the prices are good too. 2 bathrooms which are nice and private but you may have to wait if they’re filled up. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff just seem more like family than co-workers-just an observation. A few regulars were there and praising some of the wait staff. Just an overall amazing diner. I’ll definitely be returning!

We stopped in for lunch, and it was good. Service was excellent with plenty of refills, too. I had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with crisp, fresh lettuce and tomato. The wife’s cheeseburger was tasty and hearty. Im glad we stopped in the Rooster Diner!

February 2022: Great food and service again. They said they now have ads running in the neighborhood and and their Facebook page.
December 2021: Wonderful ambiance. Friendly staff. Picture perfect food that tastes amazing. Extremely clean.
Crispy fries, garlic cheese curds, fresh egg salad wrap, burgers, omelettes, peanut butter bomb (dessert).
Definitely will be back for more.

My first time at The Rooster and I was pleasantly surprised. Have driven past it for years and never went in. I had the Mediterranean Salad and it was delicious.
The only problem was the overly grilled chicken. It wasn’t white meat and a little tough to chew. But the rest of the salad was delicious, fresh with small artichoke hearts, that were so tender, WOW! And the feta cheese was so tasty. Would return for sure.
Service was excellent.
