Nice place, good ambiance. Live band on Saturday night. Bartenders were very friendly and gave recommendations on drinks. There’s a brewery nearby that they have beers on tap from. Good whiskey selection too. Will have to come again.

The food was excellent. I got the steak sandwich. It was cooked perfectly. The fries were also very good. They also have a traditional cheesteak that I will try next time but for a few dollars more this was a nice different kind of “cheesteak” to try. Being made with garlic bread was a nice touch as well. I would definitely come back for this.

Visited Holland ridge farms then stopped here for a quick bite. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. Started with appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip and fried goat cheese AMAZING!!!!) which were devoured quickly. I got the French onion soup which was good but I didn’t care for the cheese on top. Seemed a little different than other French onions I’ve had but it was still delicious. My husband got a burger which he finished! My son got a kids burger and it was huge and the price was great. My daughter got a salad, it was huge for a side salad and again the price, phenomenal! Would recommend this restaurant to others.

“Great location with outdoor seating overlooking the golf course, but that’s where the good ends. Service was incredibly slow—30 minutes for drinks (Diet Coke and a beer)in a not-busy restaurant. The wings and steak bites were disappointing; the wings had questionable blue cheese, and the steak bites were too chewy. The cheesesteak was burnt, we asked for it pressed not charred . I will say the French onion soup was delicious but Overall, the slow service and subpar food make it hard to recommend.

The best staff! FOOD was amazing, especially “Goat in a Coat” app. It was a one of a kind appetizer!! Nothing but smiling faces and staff eager to make your dining experience excellent. Jacob and Jasmine are superb!

The Roost is always a great experience. The wings are flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the pizza is consistently delicious—definitely some of the best around. You can really tell how much care goes into the place, thanks to the manager Brian, who works incredibly hard to keep everything running smoothly and make sure guests have an excellent dining experience. Shoutout as well to Jacob behind the bar—he’s always friendly, sincere, and makes you feel welcome right away. Great food, great people, and a place I’m always happy to come back to.

The Roost is a very good restaurant on a golf course. There are lots of fresh and tasty options on the menu. I ordered a salad with grilled salmon on top. The greens were crispy and fresh and chopped up to a good size. It came with a huge portion of avocado. Plentiful tomatoes and cucumbers too. And on the side was a big scoop of perfectly cooked chopped bacon pieces, adding a great amount of flavor to the dish. The egg in the salad was sliced, which made it annoying to pop the yolk out of (I’d rather have the hard boiled egg just be cut in half for easier scooping). The ranch dressing was really tasty too.

Service was good. Our order was taken quickly and the food and water were brought out in a good amount of time. However I don’t feel we were checked on enough, and we could have used refills on our drinks more often than we got them.

The atmosphere was the problem for us overall. The positives included good music playing, plenty of TV’s with sports (although too many were on the golf channel when there wasn’t any golf tournament going on), and a very open floor plan with a great view through all the windows. One downside we felt (and also heard from a few patrons when they walked in) was that it was quite cold inside. Granted, it was in the 90s outside and it was a nice respite from the heat, but the thermostat was turned down a bit too much.

The biggest atmospheric downside: the flies. As soon as our food arrived, we were visited by 4 or 5 flies who just wouldn’t leave us alone. There was just no way to get them to go away until our food was finished and cleared. And even before then, one fly ended up landing in my salad and getting stuck in the dressing, which was gross, but at least we could eliminate that one from flying all over us at our table. I get it that flies are attracted to food, but they also must be signs of unsanitary conditions in the restaurant somewhere. There’s got to be a way to take care of this problem.

Overall, the salad choices at The Roost are wonderful. There were no complaints about the taste or freshness of the food we both ordered at the table. My dining partner especially liked the sweet potato fries. I had one and I agreed! The food alone is enough to make us want to come back to this restaurant, even if you don’t golf. But bring a fan or a swatter to keep those flies away from your food!

Restaurant and bar at a Golf Club, but still very enjoyable. Food was great and Melissa are server took good care of us. Our room (banquet) was a little sparse on atmosphere, but definitely recommend for a nice but casual dinner.

Stopped by on the way home from a family visit after passing it many times in the past. Service at the bar was excellent, drinks were great, and food delicious. My only negative was I looked at the menu online, and was so excited to have a pickle flatbread. There were no flatbreads on the menu.

Was a nice atmosphere. We sat on the patio overlooking the golf course. The server was very friendly. The food was quick and delicious. Some food items came out slightly colder but the server quickly fixed it with no problem. We do plan on returning to eat again. Drink pours we’re decent, very flavorful.
