I highly recommend this spot, breakfast in Juneau starts with great coffee and a reasonably sized plate of food to carry you through the wonderful hiking and sight seeing activities all day ! Service and atmosphere is a 10! I’ll be sure to stop by again.

Lovely cafe serving breakfast and lunch. Service is friendly and smooth, even when there is a long line it moves quickly. Highly recommend the fried chicken burger, it’s delicious! Excellent pastry selection too. The tots are a MUST – best tots I’ve ever had!

First time here and the food was good! Ordered the loco moco and French toast. Very delicious I’d recommend. The “syrup” for the French toast was different, cinnamon flavored was good. Hubby usually does not finish the meal, but he ate every last bite. Loco moco was very flavorful and a big portion I could not eat it all.

The Rookery was excellent! Perfect portions and the filthiest dirty chai one could hope for! I got the Benedang, which was an exquisite eggs Benedict swapping chicken for the English muffins. So good! Quick service, not a long wait on cruise day, and great people watching at the window.

It’s coffee-shop-sized but with a very robust food menu. Order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. The service is really excellent; they clearly aim to please.
I had breakfast three times and lunch twice — everything was just really delicious. I’ve certainly never had avocado toast like theirs before and it was DEE-VINE. The S’mores Cruffin was mighty tasty but I would probably ask to have it heated up next time. The pulled pork was perfect.
Because the cafe is smallish, it was pretty crowded at times, and thus loud, which can take away from the atmosphere. But you can’t go wrong with the food. Highly recommend this place!

The Rookery is a must when visiting Juneau. The food is fresh and interesting, the coffee is the best in town, and the staff are all so genuinely friendly and warm. I had the avocado toast with the homemade lox and the apple frangipane croissant and a cortado. If I ever stop in Juneau, I will definitely go back here.

Stopped in for breakfast before starting our day and this place was great! They had a big selection of breakfast items and coffee – too many delicious options to choose from. I ordered a bbq potato hash bowl that had pulled pork and tasty bbq sauce and everyone else ordered typical breakfast items. They place was pretty crowded so it was a little tricky to find a table for the 4 of us to sit down. Luckily something came open once we ordered up at the counter but depending on what time you end up going, you might have a hard time finding a place to sit. The food comes out fairly quick so the tables are turned at a decent rate. Easily one of the best places in Juneau to grab a good breakfast!

We went here on a Tuesday morning, walked from the Goodbelt tram at 07:00. It’s an easy walk. Arrived and they were open. You have to order and then seat yourself. Place had plenty of seating and the staff was very friendly. Expected a local place to be a little snippy, but these people were great/very friendly. Had the drip black coffee and it was really good w/ berry muffin. The muffin was freshly baked, try it! Bravas potatoes was really good with great seasoning, if you don’t like spicy don’t worry it looks spicy but isn’t. Avocado toast was very good as well, might have needed some salt. Would definitely come back here, great breakfast place!

Great local eatery that is our go to when in Juneau. Excellent baked goods including a sticky bun that is heavenly. Good Stumptown coffee and consistently good specials. I love the poached egg over veggies but sandwiches are also great. Service is good even during busy times and the place has a more authentic Juneau character than options near cruise docks.
