Customer service was okay — nothing standout, but no major issues either. The menu has a decent range of options, so there’s enough choice for most people. Prices are definitely on the higher side, though this is understandable given the city centre location and the touristy area.
Food was served fairly quickly, which was a positive. In terms of taste, the food was average — not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a convenient option if you’re nearby, especially for takeaway, but there’s room for improvement.
We went for the 1/2 pounder burger meal and it absolutely hit the spot. The burger was full of flavour, cooked spot on and served piping hot. The chips were bang on too, perfectly cooked and exactly what you want when you’re cold, soaked and running on empty.
When he heard what we were training for, he even gave us a really generous discount, which we massively appreciated. Great food, great service, and proper kindness when we needed it most. Would 100% recommend and we’ll definitely be back next time we are in the area.
We ordered just a large cod and chips, seafood basket, gravy and tartare sauce. There is salt and vinegar at the tables if you are dining in.
Prices are transparent on the menu.
Seating upstairs. The upkeep and cleanliness could be improved in the seating area, but it could have been worse. No issues on our end.

I went for the jumbo sausage and chips, plus a bit of fish. The sausage was actually really good, juicy and cooked just right. Chips were a bit of a letdown though, tasted kinda stale when you bit into them. The fish was bland and tiny, didn’t really hit the spot.
They’re charging £1.50 for sauce which is mad, but fair play, the guy gave me mustard for free so can’t complain too much. One thing that did bother me was seeing the guy making the fish not wash his hands before dipping it in the batter—not ideal.
Prices aren’t too bad overall, probably fair for where it’s located, but still, £1.50 for sauce is wild.
Perfectly cooked chicken which was crispy with perfectly blended chutney.
Fulfilling and satisfying
Service was good.
Th good thing is the view which is amazing and the staff were really nice.
Extremely rude bald guy with beard who refused to let me sit in the resturant despite many empty tables.
Fish was extremely oily and chewy.
Never going there ever again.
Much better quality fish and chips are available in sorrounding with dine in.
