Unassuming pub offering a full bar & American fare such as ribs, sandwiches & pizza, plus a patio.

We had lunch at Rock on 3rd and honestly weren’t sure what to expect just based on the outside—but I really wanted those steak bites, so in we went.
The waitress was very friendly without being *overly* friendly—if you know, you know. The steak bites were **wonderful**. I love spicy food, and for the life of me I can’t remember the name of the sauce they came with, but wow… absolutely incredible if you like heat. My wife, on the other hand, said it “melted her face off.”
The garlic bread that came with them was good, and my steak was ordered medium rare and cooked perfectly. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and we both agreed it was amazing as well.
There were so many other things on the menu we want to try, so we’ll definitely be going back!

Good place for a quick bite & drinks prior to heading to the comedy club. The food & drinks were good- the service was good for the most part. We paid full price for 7 drinks but when we realized there was a happy hour menu & wanted to try a drink off of it- our waitress mentioned it was 6:00 & too late. We said it’s 5:55. She replied we go by bar time. What? She ended up putting it in but we found it odd after spending $150 in food & drinks up to that point she’d give us grief about getting $4 off a happy hour drink we wanted to try. We’d go back but for sure ask about specials prior to ordering as they weren’t mentioned.

Rock on Third has some delicious food and atmosphere! Thank you to John and Carrie for taking care of us! We had a Lava Burger, Chicken Parm and homemade chili that were all delicious! We are sure to come back here and have more great great food and conversation with them!

Wonderful experience, awesome staff, and highest quality food, prepared with excellence. I joined the Thursday’s early lunch Coney group back in June, where a group of about six come together and enjoy Coneys, topped with the only one-of-a-kind Detroit-style unique Red Hot’s chilli sauce, along with mustard and onions. There are also Coney Fries (French-fried potatoes topped with Red Hots Chili). If you haven’t tried these yet, you owe it to yourself to do so. There is nothing that compares to Red Hots, and The Rock On 3d is the unique place in Metro Detroit that serves this with pride!

The place was fine, but the parking sucks. I parked a couple blocks away, paid the meter and stayed a little longer than planned. Boom $20 parking ticket for a space that was only a couple dollars an hour. I’m so done with Royal Oak. There’s tons of other cool downtowns that I can go to.

This place is FANTASTIC!!! The only issue I had was with other patrons. They were being loud talking about some washed up celebrity that used to be the host of the tonight show. They were having a great time laughing about all his misfortunes and something about a potato being used against him in traffic court.
Then some guy named Hamburger was bragging about being sued for $850,000 dollars. Now to me, that doesn’t seem like something I’d brag about but hey we all handle crisis in our own way.
Also, I think there must’ve been some Vikings fans there because they kept yelling SKOL! Every time the drank. Don’t they know this is Lion Country???
Anyways, met a cool guy named Producer Chris in the bathroom. We both were going number two and he had some squares to spare. So that was great!

Solid sports bar with a low-key vibe, great place for private conversations and just chillaxing with friends. Food was not that great, but honestly it is the cheapest I’ve found in a while and definitely does the trick, though I only had their classic burger. Also their fries come unsalted I guess, though that could have just been a error from the kitchen

Solid food and drinks, way too minimal seating for how crowded it gets. It’s usually pretty busy but will not split any tabs now matter how big the party but writes everything on paper very messy and unorganized, overall good place for a drink or two but not a whole night!

Ok so walked in, manager jumps on us and says we have a reservation for a large party and I think a surprise bday party! I’m like woah!! Crazy cuz I was told you don’t take reservations when I called 3 days ago. She says well we have a table or a booth and I can seat you at I guess. Ok we take a table, sit there for 10 minutes no one ever comes over, in fact server went to 2 other tables that came in after us and still never came to us. Walked out waving at the manager, she starts waving back excitedly and then realized it’s us and start coming towards us to talk and we just walked out faster. Went somewhere else, lots of places to choose from sorry not sorry! Place had a boring atmosphere anyway.

Pleasantly surprised by the presentation they had for their restaurant week program menu. And, my server, while busy, still made sure that I was taken care of on anything needed.
