Pretty good pizza — good crust, decent sauce. Gluten-free pizzas available too. Good range of beer on tap, plus an actual bar if you want stronger stuff. Plus games. If I lived on Vashon Island I’d be a regular here; all it needs is a regular jam session.

Ok so the Pizza was pretty good. The place is dirty and unkept. A salad is plopped in front of me and I’m told the forks are over there. I go over to a counter and the forks are gone the salt and pepper is empty the the cheese shackles are almost empty and one has a visible pizza sauce hand print on it two napkin holders are empty. I was served a flat beer. The floor feels like I’m out side with a layer of dirt. Shoes on. Toilet stall out of order. Bar area is now storage / boose on a shelf. The kitchen looks even worse as I look in there. Very sad. I used to go there a lot and it was always clean and nice. I won’t be back.

I work on Vashon Island three times a week, and out of all the restaurants I’ve been to, Island Rock Pizza has had the best hospitality by far. The woman at the counter with the glasses was incredibly kind and genuinely cared about helping me decide what to order. The pizza was super good — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Thanks again for the great food and service!

What else are you supposed to do on a rainy cold day? Board games pizza and fire, no dishes or food prep! Thank you Rock Island! The gooeyest yummy cheesy sticks and heartiest salad with homemade dressing. ❤️

Stick to the classic pizzas and wings at Rock Island – a great old school pizzeria on Vashon. We loved the sausage pizza that we had over a year ago. The fancy Thai (chicken and shrimp) pizza was less exciting.
Good outdoor seating, if a bit disorganized. Service is a bit slow, but the pepporoni and sausage pizzas are worth the wait.

Very good pizza with good number of chosen toppings. Crust was flavorful, chewy but not too chewy, and tender.
6 pieces in a 12″ medium and perfect for 2 people. Nice selection of beers including Mac and Jack’s Amber.
Will return when hungry for pizza.

I have gotten pizza for years at Rock Island and the large greek pizza I got last night was really not good and so skimpy on the extras I paid for that I felt really ripped off. Not sure what happened but extremely disappointed with the pizza I paid quite a bit for!
