We are a small privately owned restaurant so we do require reservations. It’s not that we can’t get you in, sometimes even last minute. But we have a small staff and only 14 tables . So we ask that you call so we can be prepared and you don’t have to wait❤

Yes. This is the The Rock House. And yes, it’s legit. The steaks are handpicked. The crab cakes are handmade. The food is EXCELLENT. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED! We drive 1 hour to eat here often. That’s how excellent it is. It’s out in the woods, it’s out of the way, it’s small, it’s down a long dirt road, and yes, it’s a rock house. Yes, this is THE place. The Rock House. Treat yourself.

Wow! This place isn’t just a meal it is an experience! The food is incredible. The staff is friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive. It is in a beautiful old farmhouse very secluded from everything in the middle of a lovely ranch just outside of town.

Make your reservations! The Rock House hits all the boxes! This place is a treasure in the Talimena Skyline area! Atmosphere is cozy, wait staff is friendly, professional, and courteous. The food is amazing! Thank you, Chef I am formerly a Talihina native and I only recently ate at The Rock House after living out of state for several years. We were in town and wanted to take my Mom somewhere nice before we had to go back home. Perfection! She loved it!! The crab cakes, alfredo and aged rib eye were spectacular!!! We will definitely visit every time we are in town now!

Location and views were awesome with the most beautiful sunset . Staff was very Professional, attentive and nice.
Me and the wife both had steaks. My Ribeye was cooked properly but lacked in flavor. Her Filet was over cooked and the same on taste. The staff did offer to bring her another but she declined.
I guess for the price and hype we were expecting more…

This is a fine dining restaurant located in a 1920 historical house in the middle of a ranch. The food is spectacular and so is the service. They are known for their steaks, but I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and it rocked!

I don’t know where to begin, this place is amazing not only is the food superb but the owners are genuine super sweet people. My wife and I were celebrating our 1st anniversary and our plans were cancelled due to us living in Houston and we evacuated to family in Oklahoma. They suggested The Rock House for us to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted and went through the regular motions of ordering then eating. After about 10 minutes of getting the main course, my wife had said she was exhausted and was ready to go to bed and as she went to the restroom I alerted my waitress that nothing was wrong but that we would like to the check. We had the opportunity to tell our waitress that we had left Houston and that’s why we were there. Shortly after the owner came out with our waitress who happens to be the owners youngest daughter. They picked up our tab!!! This has never happened to us and my wife was moved to tears. Not only was our food superb (i got the filet and it was cooked to perfection) but we were surrounded by good people with huge hearts. We will never forget this place and we will make sure to make this place a stop on our travels in the future and I look forward to bringing more people here to enjoy the scenery and the great people that run this place. I also noticed the parking sign for wounded warriors and asa Marine Veteran, this warmed my heart and little did I know when i walked past that sign to go in, that these people would show true kindness and compassion. Thank you so much!
