The food is favorable & fresh. The pepperoni is delicious & you need 2 get an order of the famous garlic knots- chief’s kiss . If you R dining in B advised that the dining area is a little cramped but the service is spot on . Picnic tables R available if U want to dine outside & enjoy but let’s understand that this is LI NY & it rains almost every couple of days . Pizza and pasta! Haven’t had a bad experience ordering from restaurants in a while, surprised to find a pretty rude person taking our order today. They charge a credit card fee here and expected you to be reading that note written down on the table on the side. They also charge different prices compared to what you see on the menu, I ordered a large 12 piece Buffalo wings and they charged 2x the 6 piece price, when I asked about the difference, the lady said chicken prices went up so they no longer do orders of 12. Not cool and the prices were misleading. It’s not much but her attitude was so bad it ruined the experience. The pizza was good, shrimp scampi spaghetti was yummy too. Buffalo wings were fried wings with sauce on the side. Buffalo bites were pretty bad and skippable (they also messed up our order the first time). Outdoor seating was pretty nice but I didn’t really enjoy my experience eating from here. One star for the experience 3.5 stars for the food, averaging out to 2 stars.

TL;DR: After 20 years as a customer, they gave away my last slice, lied about it, never apologized, and treated me rudely. I will not be going back.
If you are visiting Road House Pizza in Riverhead, NY, here is my advice: if you order the last slice of any pizza, do not leave until it is in your hands.
I have been going to this place for nearly 20 years, but the service has gone downhill. In the past few visits, I have dealt with a woman who I believe is related to the owner, and she has always been rude and difficult. Today was no different.
While I was still at the register, I overheard the customer behind me ask for the same Greek salad slice I had just ordered. The staff told her it was already taken, so I thought everything was fine. When our food arrived, the waiter told me my slice would be delayed and that he would bring it out soon. My whole family ate their food while I waited. It then became clear that they had given my slice to the other customer.
When I went back inside, they claimed that both slices had been ordered at the same time, which I knew was not true because I overheard the earlier conversation. They did not apologize or show any concern that I was left out while my family ate. Instead, they argued with me because I was upset.
In the end I got a refund for the slice, and one employee even offered me a replacement, but the experience was already ruined. As I was leaving, one employee spoke to me in Spanish, and when I responded, the same woman rudely interrupted.
After nearly two decades of loyalty, this was the last straw. Road House Pizza has lost my family’s business.

Nice outdoor space by the river. Portions are very generous. Service is fast and efficient but servers can be a little gruff. Can get very busy but the line moves quickly. Know what you want as soon as you step up to the counter. Place and pay for order. Server will give you a little number card to place on your table. They will go out back to give you your food. Food is solid.

Probably the best buffalo chicken slice I’ve ever had. We’ve been coming for years and have never had a bad experience. This was our first time trying the Greek salad slice as well as the vodka slice.
Not a huge fan of the vodka, but the buffalo chicken and the salad slices were amazing. I also recommend the white pie! Yum!!

Staff was way nice. Brought food outside to table.
Food was good but sauce was pretty bland. French fries were frozen generic crinkle cut (no salt added and none on table or brought out with food). Would be 5 stars otherwise.
Shrimps were big juicy and perfectly cooked. (Reason for 4 stars or would be less).
Overall would totally recommend.
Especially if you enjoy eating outdoors.
PS. Ask for salt or extra seasoning if your taste buds prefer as mine do.

Went in and ordered a chef salad. No cheese and no olives. It was the large. I know prices of things are higher now, but it was $19.75. It was good but not $19.75 worth of good. BTW who puts oranges in a chef salad?? And they gave me olives because no one pays attention to customers needs and wants anymore.
