Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. We were served bread with a delicious marinara sauce. Then for appetizers, got the crab cakes and the mussels, which were tasty and flavorful!! Then for entrees I got the Salmon and my boyfriend got the Swordfish and wow WOW! We agreed both were delicious and melted in your mouth. Perfectly seasoned and the mashed potatoes and veggies complimented the dish very well. And of course I had to indulge in the luxurious chocolate cake. What a pleasure it was to come here. I can’t wait to come back! I’d like to add as well that our waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere was very comfortable. We were greeted and seated immediately. **the photo of the crab cakes was taken after we took a bite because we couldn’t wait! They looked so good**

Great service, although our server seems very busy. Food was on par for the price. Steak was perfectly cooked, but seemed a tad small for the price. Asparagus was on point. Everything is a la carte.

Great for small events::Rehearsal dinner, Bridal parties, etc…. Wagyu Burger, Stracciatella and Roasted Duck are our favorites. Very talented Chef…Wonderful that Ricky (owner) comes to greet you. Wish all Owner/Managers would do that. Don’t miss out on this fabulous place.

A slightly confusing mishmash of club and old timey restaurant, this place delivers on food. The service was perfect and everyone was helpful and welcoming. The drinks were well made and I highly caipirinha! The lobster roll here was Maine style – but with a refreshing addition of lemon zest and cucumber. The cacio e Pepe came out piping hot with a well balanced sauce. The shrimp scampi had some of the biggest shrimp I’ve seen on the cape. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for some great seafood!

I admit that this place exceeded all my expectations. The service was perfect from arrival to departure, the menu is simple which makes choosing dishes easy, and I can say that I ate the best salmon of my life, called Baked Encrusted Salmon. The place is beautiful and I was enchanted by all the decoration; it’s perfect for taking that special one , family, and friends. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to go to a cozy, very American style – this is the place!

Did not disclose prefix menu was the only menu available on Valentine’s Day. The person who sat us (pretty sure the owner) did not mention this and gave us the regular menu. The waitress was extremely apologetic for the mix up, but this should be made known when making a reservation. Ended up at the break down the road. Highly recommend the break over this place! Amazing food and a full menu with way better prices, way better atmosphere at the break & way better owners!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful overall experience. Our new favorite restaurant from 30 years of dining here on the Cape. We are locals who have tried many places. The food here is very good and comparatively speaking reasonable. My chicken Marsala $26 was a generous serving of two large cutlets, tasty mushrooms and half a plate of angel hair pasta. The sauce was thick and flavorful. My wife had scallops over a risotto that was tasty. We shared an app of straciatelle cheese which was very good $15. The food is lightly salted and I needed more but it’s easier to add than to get an entree with too much. The menu has a wide variety of items and great cocktails. But the BEST part of the experience was how welcome we felt. Rick the owner greeted and seated us and was very kind and humble. As a handson owner and manager he takes pride in his place. I mentioned how we had read reviews praising Livingston a waiter, and although he wasn’t in our area, Rick brought him over. What a personable and nice young man! Our waiter was Vince who was also extraordinary. He was knowledgeable of how the items are prepared, very attentive without being obtrusive, and also personable and humble. The atmosphere is calm with wood paneling and extremely comfortable and sturdy leather upholstered chairs. You can find good food and nice settings all over the Cape BUT the service here stands way above others. We love Grill 23 in Boston for it’s food, service and atmosphere, but if The Roadhouse was in Boston we would have a hard time choosing between them.

Welcoming lounge with a cozy fire in the fireplace(!!), lovely bar and some booths along the wall (table seating in rooms beyond). We had a great bartender (Tim?) and delicious Italian food!
The one drawback we feel compelled to mention was the music … not sure we can actually call it music …. more like techno background noise. It did not “fit” the vibe one would expect in this beautiful Italian restaurant. Such a shame, but an easy fix. Some great background music would make this intimate eatery TOPS on any given night!
