The River Front Cafe is in Rainbo beach resort,directly on the Colorado river in needles California. We serve Italian and American food and have a full bar .We do karaoke on Friday nights and live music on some Saturday nights.The bar stays open depending on business and food is served from 1130 am to 9pm .We are open Thursday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. We sit on the river Right off a route 66.

This was a very nice place to eat; especially on the Colorado River. The views of the mountains and the river were really beautiful. It was cool after the sun went down but we had jackets we prepared. The reason for the 4 stars was that the waitress was not always available; the food order didn’t get put in so it was late and being outside the food got cold fast (our fault). We never got refills for our drinks and had to ask for napkins and utensils. I didn’t get a photo of our food, forgot. Ugh!!!!

During the Veteran’s Day weekend, despite the establishment being at full capacity, Dana and Casey consistently provided exceptional VIP service. Their professionalism, efficiency, and Casey’s engaging demeanor were noteworthy. This marks our third visit, and we continue to be impressed by the level of service. The cuisine was delectable, and our orders were served promptly. We observed two parties of eight being seated with remarkable speed during our visit. The ambiance is truly remarkable, creating an environment that encourages extended stays. The pricing is equitable given the riverside location, and the musical selection enhances the overall experience. It was a perfectly relaxing Sunday. I would rate their performance as exemplary. Great little stop. We had some fish and chips as well as a patty melt and a cheesesteak sandwich. All were good and give decent portions. It’s a bit hard to find but look for the signs and you’ll find it. Most tables also have a good view of the river. Service was excellent

Fresh, hot, and tasty. Hard to get my food hot at many places but we got excellent service with piping hot food. Everything tasted wonderful and the scenery is great with the river out back.
The lasagna was absolutely wonderful. The sauce was wonderfully made for a fantastic taste. The beef Philly was wonderfully made as well and the fries were made to order.
The dessert was fresh and nice and warm. We got there at 5:30 PM on a Thursday night and it was slow. By 6 PM the place was packed, so you may want to get there early depending on the day.
Parking is limited, however, not impossible. We will be ordering a pizza later in the week and I’ll update that.

Dirty, very slow, staff looks annoyed to be there, clearly overworked. My grilled chicken sandwich was cold. Like just out of the refrigerator cold. I had a few bites and threw it out.
We drove through on our way to tuscon. 4 hours later I was hit with the worst food poisoning. What a way to ruin a weekend vacation. It was all I ate that day. Still haven’t been able to eat anything 24 hours later!!

If you find yourself in Needles, California and you’re looking for a good place to eat, STOP! You’ve found it. Go to the Riverfront Cafe and make sure to ask for Cassie. You won’t find someone who hustles more and will make sure your visit is worth it.
Everyone in our party loved the food, and my Buffalo Chicken sandwich was amazing – it was a four-napkin experience. Seriously, lean over your plate while you’re eating or you’ll make a mess on your shirt. Best meal I’ve had in quite a while.
Cassie and the team were awesome, and they were very friendly to our dogs. She brought water with ice for the pups and was very welcoming to them. Thank you.

Got here on a Friday afternoon, on the way out here for Labor Day. Place was packed, but took 45mins to get food. 1 lady running both the bar, and the entire restaurant by herself. Extremely underserved, and understaffed. Chicken wings were rubber, and burgers were cold by the time we got them. Only thing that was good about this place is that it had Cali Squeeze on draft. I will not be coming back ever!

The view is amazing: the cafe looks out to the Colorado river separating California from Arizona. Just a small walk and you can sit by the river and dip you feet in the water.

Ok so I didn’t eat there because they were closed the day I drove through, but this is the view from the restaurant and it turned into a memorable sight. That’s the Colorado river…. it’s the clearest water I have ever seen. Just go there if you are in town if anything just for the view. It’s beautiful.
