Outstanding! In all areas.
Our server was amazing, such a lovely person, I’m gutted I can’t remember her name.
Food was immense, huge portions but also great quality food. In fact, we took away what we didn’t eat and had it the following day, which I rarely do.
The wings were incredible, and the pizza was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
Our cards wouldn’t work at first due to being UK cards, but our server was super patient and we eventually managed to pay!

The turkey sandwich was awesome. Roasted in house. It was huge. Sandwiches not greasy too which is nice. The fries were amazing. Great prices and portions. I think the only thing is that it did take just a little long for the food to come out. I think they don’t have a lot of people in the kitchen. But very good!

We stopped by River Road House last night and were really impressed! We started with a couple of appetizers — the fried pickles and the Junction fries — and both were excellent. Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and great for sharing.
For our mains, my girlfriend had the Roadhouse Burger and I went with the classic cheeseburger. Both were cooked just right — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell they use quality meat, and everything tasted fresh.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Kelly, the owner, who was super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d want from a traditional American pub — cozy decor, laid-back vibe, and lots of space. It’s conveniently located right off the road and has plenty of parking, which is always a bonus.
If you’re in the area and craving a solid meal in a relaxed setting, I’d definitely recommend stopping in. We’ll be back!

Reservations recommended but they accommodated our group of 4. They have an outside area and a smaller inner seating area. The service was fast. We had our appetizer very quickly. Drinks and refills were also fast. Our meals took nearly 40 minutes but everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The pulled pork was highly rated as were the onion rings and the burger. The clam fry was good. The eggplant Parm looked fantastic but it was a bit on the soft side for my taste. Some of the specials and dessy sounded really good. I would definitely return and try some other options. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

This was my first time coming here.
Our waitress was lovely and very attentive.
What was ordered:
Appetizers – chicken ,bacon, ranch egg roll. served With cranberry aïoli.
&
Coconut shrimp
My dinner order was fish & chips
My eggroll was really good. Like really, really good. I likeed the cranberry aïoli. it was perfectly balanced between lightly sweet and savory.
The fish and chips were also good. I’m not the biggest french fry person. But their fries were great.
Something was a little off with the oil tho . Maybe the temperature too high ? Or old oil?
Anything that was got that was fried had a darker color to it.
it was still flavorful. And would have definitely been a lot better if the oil was different.

Im traveling with my family from Maine to SW Ohio, and we stopped in to get some grub, and this place did NOT disappoint! The price of the food, the portion size, and the taste were all exceptionally excellent. Our service was fantastic and the music was fitting. If you’re living in the area and sleeping on this place, then you’re missing out.
I got the reuben with onion rings, and let me tell ya, it was all done right. The breading on the onion rings was just and the amount of meat on my reuben was more than I expected. Very pleased. I hope this place thrives.

We were a large group, 13 of us including 5 kids. They had tables for us all to sit together. There was a bit of a wait for our meals, but we were told that before we ordered, due to our party size and they have just 1 cook. We got appetizers to hold us over. It was worth the wait. Fresh and homemade! Every order was correct and delicious.

Tried The River Road House today on a whim. Definitely recommend!!! Food was very good. The waitress was great, very informative. Atmosphere might not be for everyone, but it’s a typical bar atmosphere. I ordered the Philly Cheese steak and it was very delicious. My wife ordered the Reuben and was equally delicious. We split both and we’re both very satisfied. I’d lean Philly over the Reuben but you won’t be disappointed with either. If you’re considering it, DO IT.

This was a phenomenal restaurant located in Schenectady a little out of the way but definitely a place to try when you have a chance to. The atmosphere and the food was incredible to say the least and the friendly wait staff added to that. Everything was cooked to order and did not disappoint. We ordered the lemon pepper boneless wings as an appetizer. You could taste the fresh lemon and grated pepper in the sauce it competes with the top wing spots in Schenectady. I ended up getting just a simple black and blue burger which was cooked to medium rare perfectly. My fiance got a steak sandwich which was sliced New York strip with a homemade cheese sauce served with homemade chips. You could really tell that they cared about the food that they were making in the kitchen. Since this review I have gone back twice and have recommended it a bunch of times to family and friends.
