Being in a small town, memorable places are hard to find, but this one stands out. We have brought our kids, in-laws, friends, etc here because of how pleased we always are.
I love their varieties of specials and creativity. Our palates enjoy the apps, entrees, and desserts most of all. Their unique twists leave you wanting to come back for more… 10/10 every time! Clean plates ALWAYS.
The service was attentive and welcoming, ensuring that we understood the menu options. For example, when our child was unsure about which drink to order, our server kindly explained the different choices and helped select the perfect non-alcoholic option based on their preferences.
Overall, we were extremely happy with both the food and service. Thank you for a wonderful experience after a busy day!
The burger was juicy and satisfying, the salmon was fresh and nicely cooked, and the tomato soup was rich and velvety—perfect comfort food. My daughter had the calamari and thought it could have used a bit less breading, but still said the flavor was solid. The dips served with the appetizers were excellent—bold, complementary, and clearly made with care.
We actually ate the carrots garnishing the calamari before we remembered to take photos, which probably says enough. I started nibbling on her fish before we even got our drinks.
Service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and efficient without being overbearing. The kind of place that gets the details right. We’ll definitely be back.
Next came the entrées. The first was a baseball steak with garlic mashed potatoes and a mélange of summer squash and zucchini. The squash was done well enough, but the potatoes were over-processed, creating a starchy, sticky texture. Again, they lacked salt, which muted what little garlic flavor was present. The baseball steak itself was sinewy, dry, and tough. It also lacked salt and completely fell flat on flavor—definitely a choice-grade steak.
The second entrée was a picanha steak with mushrooms and spinach. The sides were fine, and the mushrooms were cooked better than those in the appetizer. Unfortunately, the coffee-crusted picanha was flavorless. It lacked a proper sear and had a texture similar to the baseball steak. It was genuinely difficult to eat. I had to ask the waiter for salt—there was quite literally none on the dish.
Overall, our experience was a 2.5 out of 5 stars. It’s unfortunate that such basic execution and seasoning issues set the tone for the entire meal. These are simple mistakes, but they matter. I hope they’re able to dial things in. I would consider going back if they do.
