The Ridge is the sister restaurant to Mudtown in Cahaba Heights. Like Mudtown we offer great food in a laid back, unpretentious, neighborhood atmosphere. The burger is king at The Ridge, but we have something for everyone from our triple decker Ridgeline club, to a mouth watering Ribeye, to our fresh and healthy Spinach Salad. Coat & tie, or flip-flops and tank top, everybody’s welcome, even the kids!

I had lunch at The Ridge today with a friend of mine. We both ordered the hamburger steak, smothered with onions, mushrooms and gravy with a side of french fries and a salad. Of course it came with the best toasted bread that just melts in your mouth. We did not have to wait long and the service was exceptional. Kirk was our waiter and he did an exceptional job. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere was exciting. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend The Ridge to anyone wanting good food at lunch or dinner.

We had the Grilled Wings with half Nashville Hot and hald Asian Sweet and Spicy Sauce,Tuna Tataki, and Tablitas blackened with Ranch for appetizers, all of which were phenomenal! For dinner we had Steak Tacos with Fries, the Naked Dog with Fried Pickles, and the Cahaba Quesadilla with a side of Sweet Potato Fries and then an order of the amazing Brussels Sprouts. Everyone (yes, even the kids and the ones that dont care for Brussel Sprouts) LOVED them! Everything was cooked to order,came out super quick, and so delicious. The servers were all very helpful towards each other. The atmosphere was definitely a ‘regulars only’ type of atmosphere, and to my surprise no one made us feel unwelcome or like we didn’t belong! My twins had a million questions, but everyone was very patient even though they were busy, and took the time to answer all of their questions!! Our server was fantastic, fun, and very knowledgeable about the menu! And just when we thought it couldnt get better, the dessert came and WOW! Do yourself a favor, and go try the desserts! You will not be disappointed! This was a great find, and we will 100% be back.

Been there 3 times now and I am never disappointed. The beer selection is always good, the service is great, and the food is amazing! We live out of town but recommend it to anyone we talk to that may be traveling that way! Love it! We will definitely be back!

This place was incredible!! Lots of really cool history memorable on the walls. Had burgers and fish toacos!!! Burgers are HANDMADE!!! The server was so pleasant and very informative. Priced aren’t bad either!!

OMG!!!! We are visiting from Texas…..this place should get more than 5 stars. The food was AMAZING, like a real home-cooked meal, great service, relaxing hang out atmosphere. Small eatery set in the upstairs of a strip mall, they provide decent friendly service, and really good food.
We had fried pickles, which did not disappoint.
I ordered a salad, which came with a heaping helping of chicken and fries on top of it.
My girlfriend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries, The burger was so massive she could only eat half of it.
Would definitely come back here again.

I’ve dined here many times and it’s always great! We love this casual laid back eatery! The staff always go above and beyond; especially when you have your hands full with babies and toddlers. The burgers are top notch!

Looks like a dive bar when you walk in, but wow!! That was some of the best bar food I’ve had in awhile.
Waitress was awesome, attentive, and gave some great recommendations.
Fried pimento cheese balls were and served with really good homemade ranch dressing.
The Spicy Cahaba was juicy, cooked to order and really tasty. Waitress surprised me with onion rings that I wouldn’t have ordered myself but complimented the burger perfectly. They were also juicy and crispy all at the same time.
The Jamm Gouda burger was also juicy and flavorful. Collard greens were on point and didn’t need anything additional. Didn’t taste like canned, so you had us fooled if they were.
The kids enjoyed their tots and mini corn dogs.
Good whiskey selection, and the beer was cold and fresh.
Overall a great experience even though they looked slammed when we first went in. Was surprised with the quickness of everything given how busy they were.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot for brunch. They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes, from brunch to dinner. They provide the greatest options to choose from for reasonable prices. Their mimosa and Bloody Mary were on point. Will be returning for lunch/dinner.
